I can't say tonight was a surprise as I thought the Roosters would win. The Roosters really could've put 50 on us if they executed better, they really let themselves down in that department. We did scramble well at times though, which contributed to that.

We certainly didn't help our causes with a few things that happened throughout the game, we were certainly our own worse enemy, but I think we were beaten well before the match even started. We also really don't play well at this ground.

Those last 2 tries we scored just mask the deficiencies in the squad. At least we finally learnt how to score from a scrum.

My view on tonight is that ultimately we learnt what happens when you only have 2 NRL standard front rowers in your entire squad, and one of them can't play.

Having to play RCG for 58 minutes straight is not going to help your cause. He looked like a passenger when he came back on.

This comp is too close and we're not doing ourselves any favours. Perhaps a X-Factor fullback will solve the problem? FMD...

You'd have to think Lane has a large influence on Dylan Brown. He's pretty useless without him.

Hodgson is a passenger after 25 minutes.

The Tigers will likely be well overdue for a win next week. I suspect they'll get one up against a team with only one NRL standard front rower available.

Tbh, the bench players did quite well.
