BA said in the PC he was happy with the performance. Effort at least.
It was a fifty-fifty game ffs. Against a strong team in good form. merkins pissing and moaning about our attack because we can't score at will don't understand how it works. No team can score at will. You do your best over 80 minutes and hope it's better than the opposition. We'll get there. Hopefully soon.

Johns and Sterlo during the game picked it in one hit. The eels are one dimensional, they do not offload and keep trying the same play even though it isnt working which makes them predicatable. When the forwards hit it up no one is with them so they get gang tackled and battered.

At some point our halves needed to put in an early kick to stop them from rushing up. Simmilar to the Radiers vs the dogs.

Do you consider our try today luck ?
Their try was luck too .... waqa flopped to the ground and subsequently should have been called a dominant tackle ... they were VERY lucky to get a penalty which then directly led to mannahs sin bin and then the try

Effort was absolutely there. At the same time I'm sure there's plenty we could improve on. I'm happy enough for people to vent, particularly after a fifth straight loss. I used to have real emotions too.

You do not have to win every game. You have to win some games - half of them. You certainly can't win zero games.

Does anyone know the who the last team was that started 0-5?
An even less relevant question is which was the last team to start the season 5 and 0? Because that's whom the Dragons and Warriors are emulating this year.

Did they say the same about the panthers? We had 7 offloads to your sides 10, so stuff all really!! We also made more line breaks!!

And the eels had 4 attacking players out in Hayne / French / gutherson and Taka's compared to only Cleary for your side!!

Agreed. A bit of variety puts the defence in two minds. We were so keen to get at Maloney (who missed ten tackles) that they saw it coming and forced some rushed plays. We need to take our medicine when it's not on. And, as you say, throw some variety at them. Get the defence to make some mistakes.

We did it last year, but last year we were confident.

It was just a game of luck all over.

On paper having three players Hayne/French/Gutherson return should be a good thing, but I actually think it's going to not work out. I think there's room for two, but not all three.

If we can keep playing with today's effort, those 3 could be the key to us going on a run. Gutherson has the energy, French try scoring ability and Hayne the class factor. Would rather have them then not!!

What was lucky about it? It was a dangerous kick between defenders. The chase was good. It was always a chance of being dropped. Mansour f**ks up every week and Edwards is only 22 years old.

getting the ball was lucky but him being there was just good play making an effort to be in the right place to make a tackle and stop the panthers getting on a roll and the ball just fell into his lap
