On Penisini, agree re defence, quite poor, in attack he was very good. He's our only outside back making tough meters consistently.

Yea it’s embarrassing how bad he is passing the ball. Even more so when he tries to defend.

He is in defense, his work rate is way behind Rheeeed's, and our big blokes are getting moved around more and tiring to compensate.

That means they have less in the tank when we have the ball.

While super coach still uses one of his starters for 19mins and one of his bench for 10mins...

It’s horrific his decline. If Arthur persists with him it will cost us the season. Hands is a far better hooker and I’d take him at 80% across 80 minutes rather than use Hodgson. I could live with Jake on the bench to cover multiple positions and perhaps give Hands a spell. I actually don’t think he needs it though.

He was falling off tackles after about 2 or 3 mins today, anyone who thought that he was capable of replacing Rheedy is on some quality drugs.

i've refrained from reading this thread today after the game started and I won't being going back.
My view is the game played out as expected.
We made it as hard for ourselves as I expected us to.
We are still a poorly coached team.
We just cannot get the basic's of a game right, even against the worst, weaker teams like the Tigers.
Did the Tigers lift today? Maybe. A bit more effort possibly but they were still appalling. We just did not have the go get attitude to finish them off when we could have.
Despite our previous losses, this was one of our worst performances of the season. We've played better against the better teams and lost.
I'll take the two points, however.
Bulldogs next week will be a test, although they shouldn't be if we are on our game.

Yeah I reconsidered. Worst game defensively. Dunster has an excuse for being poor. Will does not.

Charlie Staines won the game for us, if he had taken the drop out, no doubt it would have gone to golden point, at least Brad has another two and half years to teach them how to defend their flanks the middle and everywhere else…..diabolical

Spot on. He made so many tough metres but his defence was uncharacteristically poor.
