i've refrained from reading this thread today after the game started and I won't being going back.
My view is the game played out as expected.
We made it as hard for ourselves as I expected us to.
We are still a poorly coached team.
We just cannot get the basic's of a game right, even against the worst, weaker teams like the Tigers.
Did the Tigers lift today? Maybe. A bit more effort possibly but they were still appalling. We just did not have the go get attitude to finish them off when we could have.
Despite our previous losses, this was one of our worst performances of the season. We've played better against the better teams and lost.
I'll take the two points, however.
Bulldogs next week will be a test, although they shouldn't be if we are on our game.
We've lacked attention to detail to many facets of the game. The coach has been here a decade and it's remained the same, a complete lack of attention to detail where it matters.

We've relied on the brilliance of the individual alone for far too long. That can only take you so far.

He wasn't blamed for our losses. He was dropped to give an opportunity to someone else who had earnt it. That's very different from blaming him for the losses.
How do you know he wasn’t blamed. At least a decent contribution was attributed to it, otherwise you wouldn’t drop him.

Secondly, Did we lose tonight?

I want us to improve our team so we keep winning.

I think ba has a plan. He's timing our run home.

Putting hodgo in requires the others to cover and to do more work. This will help us in the long run.

He s giving us practice in trying to close out close games

I mean thrashing teams didn't really help

So I guess Arthur is a scapegoater for dropping Waqa and Simo. Why else drop them? Why do any players get dropped if you can’t single them out for poor performance. When individual players aren’t performing, you drop them to improve the entire team and see if they can improve against a lesser opposition.

by your argument, no one should ever get dropped because that singles them out. Some of your arguments are laughable.
Pou is just worried about getting dropped on LU for poor performance.
