Oh well, v. poor execution at times. Shit happens. Despite that there were some signs of genuine improvement relative to previous years. Cases in point, a few times when Wests had the ball in our 20 and there was some irregular play (balls dropped backwards etc). This year you could see our defenders consciously reset the defensive line rather than rush up like f**kwits. As long as we keep our chins up it will still be a much better season than the last few.

Pauli Pauli was fantastic and will only get better.

I'm with you 100% on this, hiney. Taupau had another great game for the Tigpies and exposed Fui badly.

Pauli had his best game to date. Got involved on the edge and up the middle with numerous good carries and some quality offloads. If the other merkins in our team start to support his runs he will tear teams up down that edge.

I also thought Mannah completely outplayed Woods and Galloway up front. Good, tough game from Tim (if he was someone else he would be lauded for Origin for it) but like Sandow and Hayne, the error he made hurt us massively.

Still, I was going a bit cold on Mannah earlier in the season but he is stringing some great games together now. Junior Paulo would compliment his game perfectly.

Paulo was awfull but did throw a nice pass at end and made 45 tackles.Lussick made 35 mtrs all game-That's ordinary. Tigers forwards steam rolled us.But we look hot in attack.

Lets not forget tigers are a good side-They didn't have Farrah thou but we handed them two tries and the reffs raped us most the game.

Agree with all you say, we are much better than we have been over the last few years and at least we are now competing and hanging in until the very end.

IMO we still lack the mental hard edge, size and experience to be true contenders but at least we enter every contest with a chance and aren't cannon fodder.

I'll be honest, the eels were f**ked by the refs. That aside, they were still winning. Two shit passes that were intercepted & poor goal kicking gave the tigers the game.

And that scrum was packed by parra before the fulltime siren went too.

I think people writing off the tigers as easy beats are going to eat their words more often than not this year. They still aren't being respected by many.
