Watching live at the game, our forwards don't bend the line anywhere near enough and we can't buy a quick play the ball to save our lives.

Gower was awesome for us, he's a smart forward that runs great lines. Need more of it.

Tigers pack outplayed us in a big way, don't care what the stats say.

Awesome finals like atmosphere.

I reckon the stats would say the Tigers got it over us in the middle as well. That allowed them to get off their line quickly on the edges.

Agree!! Forwards were run over. Fui looked past it unfortunately.
It kills me to say that!! In saying that we got a few injuries and we were short on the bench.

Jnr Paulo and Terepo would have made an impact for us tonight. Arthur's has erred in not picking them.

Yep, tigers pack were much better in every facet I thought...

We need to improve in that area

ummm i guess .... the words "cost us" don't really count at all cos it was the right ruling - cost implies it was wrong

True.

At the time I wasn't sure why it was called back and I thought it "cost" us a try.

But if we knocked on, then it's a fair call.

i agree the tigers are a more dominant pack ... but also keep in mind we lost 2 of our forwards mid/late first half - so we played with 15 for alot of the match (I think they may have played with 16 too) .... it doesn't help if your pack is tired - and i think thats why paulo got so much ball (kinda compounding the problem really)

i agree we need to go with one hard running merkin terepo/tanginoa/jnr paulo on the bench

We couldn't button a quick play the ball as they lay all over us particularly in the second half. Galloway especially would lay all over a player, look at the referee and then ask him if it was ok to get up.

The ruck area was ordinary.

The Tigers certainly controlled that facet of the game today.
It certainly helped their cause......very muchly.

Very valid point.

But gee - those young Tigers forwards are awesome.

When the ball was quick we scored. Five times with four being allowed.

When they lay all over us and slowed the play down particularly in the 20 metre zone we tried one out plays. When the ball was shifted their line speed had them in our line as the ball was passed. They dominated the ruck because they were allowed to. Good on them for exploiting the fact Cechinn and the other parrot weren't interested in clearing the ruck.

They played to the referees whistle. We did as well but they appeared quicker on the draw for us.

That's exactly what happened.
Good call. Shame we didn't wake up to it.

Marty Tapau, James Gavet and Aaron Woods, theres a good pack there from the Tigers. And to think Galloway and Blair wouldve been their leaders a couple of years ago.

I think the difference was their field position and their forwards certainly helped.

Having Allgood and Edwards off didnt, add to that a few bad handling errors.

We defended well but after getting the ball back, trying to get out of own half on occassions was hard.
