It's hard to fathom exactly what happened out there tonight.

Yes we played great in the main, and won well, but there was really only one team trying for most of that match. Some of the defensive efforts from the Knights were atrocious. The Knights made Makatoa, Greig and Ogden look like Glenn Lazarus and Shane Webcke!

I think things were just going too easy out there, and individuals thought they could just run at will and do it themselves, which meant we really didn’t win by as much as we should've.

Dunster is a real concern though athletically to be honest, but I thought he was strong defensively.

We left some points out there but other than that, outstanding game from a number of players. Of the part timers, Wiremu, Maka and Ogden all played very well.
