I'm a season ticketholder of an NRL team
Pretty much everyone on here is...

I'm also a season ticket holder of Sydney FC (oh the horror  )
I've been to a couple of roar games but there's no way in the world I'm buying a season ticket until they learn to win at home.

I don't support AFL ... went to a couple of games a few years ago with free tickets and I wished I could've got a refund ;-)
I thank the heavans every night that I've never been subjected to it.

a few months ago I was mailed a brochure for tickets to the RL World Cup ... and it is going to be a massive embarrasment for this game .... showcasing the the farce that international RL is . 3 countries play this game .
Unlike you I bought myself tickets and have got a group of about a dozen family and friends going to the Semi in Brisbane. I'll be going to more games by myself too. The RLWC has already made a profit so every cent that they make from ticket sales will go straight back into developing the game.
You're the worst kind of league fan, you hang sh*t on RL by saying it's only played in a few countries and then when the opportunity comes along to enjoy the game and, at the same time, help the game in other nations you ridicule it. I hope you're proud of yourself.

RL isn't even the dominant sport in any of those 3 countries .
How many countries is RU dominant in? Or basketball? Or cricket?

pretending that Lebanon , Russia & outer Mongolia play this game is like pretending that you're built like John Holmes and Jennifer Hawkins is your girlfriend .
Just play the Tri-Series and be happy .
channel 9 are'nt showing any WC games that don't involve Australia , NZ or GB ... that's gotta tell ya something .
All you've posted in this thread is your opinion. If you want some actual facts then feel free to check out the international forum or, god forbid, go further afield.
All I know is that I've already got my tickets to the WC and I'm going to enjoy every minute of it.
