But the real crux of the matter is this. All you've got is this. It gets at your craw that everyone that you meet is better than you at everything you do. That you hop on an Internet forum and are ridiculed because your little mind is so abhorrent to every thing you come in touch with. You're reduced to posting outdated and cliche pictures to gain some credibility and again you fail. Every minute you have is devoted to getting back at those you know are superior. Yet again you fail.

After reading a few of his/her posts it is clear that alwaysgreen is just an internet troll and not a very good one at that.

Like Popeye says, he is simply a plaything, an amusement to be had, he has no wit, intelligence or even good come backs, just lame boring dribble as you said.

After having read only a few pages of his attempted wit, it is obvious he really has nothing to offer, it is neither funny, topical or even remotely entertaining.

He comes across as just another one of those losers who spend wayyyy too much time on the internet, lack friends in real life and as someone who places more value on his internet persona rather than his real life.

In summary he is a troll and a loser who hides behind a keyboard seeking validation from his very few virtual friends.

I suppose I should have made it clear from the beginning why I started this thread. It's not about me
as the redneck's would have you believe, but it is nevertheless for my benefit.

I tired of wading through a quagmire of vitriolic rubbish to find my posts and responses to them.
Don't get me wrong, there are a few threads that linger for pages before drowning in the mire.
Even the odd one or two that see rational opinion through to the end. I can leave this thread on
my 'Favourites' list and find my posts easily.

Just on the subject of opinion. Those who think they can come to a forum like this intent on changing
opinion are deluding themselves. To be allowed to share thoughts is the only reasonable expectation.
Nothing wrong with conjouring up something which is not intentionally degrading, 'taking the piss'
if you like, to add a bit of humour.

For the last time, my use of 'redneck' is no more tangible to me than 'bluey' to a redhead. I use the word
to signify distaste of people who post just to malign fellow forumers. There is no good reason to retaliate
as I do either. Better to ignore if you're not comfortable retaliating. I, on the other hand, won't take shit
from anybody and actually enjoy responding . . . for that I apologise to sincere forumers

Sorry mate, I apologise for missing your post until now. Best if I just give my opinion on how
I see the Dragons at the moment. Not to confuse anyone but I see coach Price when I look at the team.
He is one I have great hopes for as a coach willing to trust his instincts and capability.

He shows confidence in the means he has at his disposal and that is great not only for the Dragons but for the game.
I hope he searches for young unknowns to systematically replace outgoing regulars and resists the urge
to knee-jerk when monies become available.

Thanks Popeye I appreciate it. It's refreshing to get someone else's point-of-view on the Dragons who knows a bit and enjoys talking about footy.

It's an interesting take that you see Price when you think of the Dragons. I hope he does well, and I'm happy at the traits in him you mentioned. I think most Dragons fans are waiting for the worst (being a young coach and the whole Nathan Brown experience we went through).

But he does trust his instincts which is good. I agree and hope he brings through a few youngsters (especially juniors) as we'll be losing a lot of experience over the next few years.

Hearing Gidley has popped his shoulder again brings back memories of '83 when I was involved with a champion
pub team in Parramatta. We had a bloke that like a lot of A graders could have played NRL but for injury.
His shoulder had popped no less than 4 times and towards the end he was told any hard physical contact would result in it happening again.

Unlike Mel Gibson's portrayal of the injury it is no joke and although I never have regarded Gidley
as SOO material it is a lousy way to go for a champion player

The propensity League heirarchy have for treating the public as numbskulls is equal to that of the
media. All This hullabaloo about banning player managers when in reality it has no effect on even their
day to day operations.

Then we see people who seemingly have agendas that can be fastforwarded because of who they can reach
by crying foul about tackles and play the balls. No matter that the problem can be solved by hiring referees
who can follow a rule book and count to three.

There are coaching staff and players out there that have a much more important and demanding job to do than
worry about others who's only contribution to the game is sensationalism. I often wonder when the game's finished
and opposition players are milling around in camaraderie what they talk about.

Willing to bet that once their job is done on the field they don't give a toss about the hangers on and the bullshit
for which there is no room on the paddock

When a club signs a player how much attention should be paid to the time he may or may not spend on the field.
If the player is exceptional are clubs blinded by his talent. Dugan for instance is regarded by many as the second
best fullback in the game . . . when he plays.

Burgess is highly regarded but he too is poor value for money. Maguire has just about made he and Azotazi superfluous
by convincing replacements they're more than that. When a club takes the risk of retaining injury prone players it owes
supporters to have contingency players. Not sure whether there's something in the water in Victoria or it's in the preparation
but Bellamy's top blokes seem impervious to serious setbacks. Maybe that's why they're worth so much money.

Nevertheless, he and Griffin seem to prepare players to cover all contingencies. Flanagan has two fullbacks, two hookers
and some very versatile players . . . not by accident I'll bet. The Warriors have most positions covered. Manly have a great
year when they stay healthy but are a bit fragile when bad things happen in two's.

For every great player there needs to be some thought put into a promising replacement because misguided dependancy can ruin a season

Sensationalism in all walks of life sells, no less in League. The Fox footy show last night is proof of that.
Many of us would like to see Sterlo, Alexander and Lewis on a panel with rational discussion and light
humour as in the Barefoot Footy show.

The vast majority however love traumatic television, as can be evidenced in the programming on FTA.
At least in Fox programming there is always an avenue of escape for those of us past
masturbation.

Smith is a good presenter because he knows his job even if he likes us all to know how well he does
his job. Johns is under the impression he is really the host of the program as would any meathead
who mistakes popularity for IQ. MG is not as dumb as he looks and thank f**k for that but if he could fit
on Matty's knee he would. Kent talks like he's drank one Jack too many and like all journos is delusional
even if he sometimes is right.

I have no problem watching the show, especially when comparing it to the offerings on Nine which I never watch.
It is however imperative imo not to sit on the edge of your seat otherwise you run the risk of appearing a sheep
if a shepherd was to see you.
