Wake up to find Manly may have salary cap problems with a 10 year one club player, the twilight of his career far from certain
with likely future injuries hanging over his head, the loyalty of whom is the epitome of what all supporters want. Suppose if he
couldn't get a simple apology what chance such players receiving concessions.

Remember way back when Union was an amateur sport and David Campese was seemingly getting more money than any League
player not to swap codes. Didn't matter that when he had to do anything with the ball other than run with it he was absolutely
useless, so if the precedent has been set why are League clubs so hard on poor Quade.

No use crying over spilt milk so Melbourne will just have to get on with it if the draw doesn't do them any favours. Realistically,
it's just another obstacle you would expect to be thrown at any team who threatened to make a season lopsided. The bigger the
challenge the better the result is the norm for this mob.

Although I claim to be bias towards good coaching more than teams there are some that I would prefer to do well simply because
it's their turn. Like to see the Raiders for instance find some on-field leadership and win the first 10 games just to watch Nine squirm.
Not that it matters to me because I watch every game at least once and only on FTA if I'm on the piss visiting . . . never ad-ridden delayed shit.

Best of '12 was the Rabbitohs establishing themselves and the Sharks on the verge. Really interested in the Cowboys, as usual, but for
'13 the Titans, Roosters and Elliott in particular. So, this soc is happy to let everyone else support League tv rights and keep Nine happy,
I don't have the money or the inclination to buy anything they're selling.

Stuart is not just keen to get Izzy in the team because he's a great player alone, without him there will be no reason for Hayne
to put in a big year. The last time Hayne earned his money the sun was rising from Mortimer's arse and we know Jarryd hates
being shaded. He will be buoyed by the 'fans' recognising him as the #1 All Star . . . dearie me.

Parramatta should have cheated the cap and paid their players in brown paper bags like Melbourne who did it for a good cause,
and they've got nothing that can be taken away if they get caught. Keep the great players where they want to be I say.

Maybe the coach should be included in the salary cap, not as a reduction but as a guide. Parramatta for instance have a very mediocre
coach who can't really make do with anything but champions, so in order to keep up with Hasler or Bellamy he should be allowed to have
extra money in the cap to buy players.

If Bellamy was to move to the Eels in '15 they would have to shed some of their superstars, which wouldn't worry him but it may them,
maybe a transfer to wherever Ricky goes. A middle of the range coach like Henry would have less money to buy than Stuart but more
than Bellamy. Of course, any player any coach makes into a champion would be heavily discounted only to that coach.

In essence then, if Stuart went to Melbourne he would be allowed to keep the fab three plus buy a few like Falou and Inglis for instance.
If the fab three went to the Eels with Bellamy, Hayne, Sandow and the rest of the big earners would have to go because not being his
prodigies they were not entitled to cap discounts.

All a matter of the better a coach the less poaching he is allowed and it's not the club who has to worry about being over the cap but the
coach they employ. What it boils down to is Stuart would be better at the Dogs who want a quick fix and Hasler or Bellamy at the Eels
who have juniors in need of proper coaching.

On a serious note now I can't figure out why the delay on defining the cap, although I'm a staunch defender of the ARLC's stance on not
kowtowing to arsewipes, there must be something I missed that is preventing clarification. I'd like to think the delay is because the
Commission is trying to secure the best possible deal for the players but could be the 'fools rush in' malady of Gallop has them a little gun shy.

Imo League players are poorly paid for their efforts if you compare them to more worldy sports but our population is the greatest enemy
of sport in Australia. We can't afford to relegate teams because they can't keep up like other countries do but it is infuriating that the lack
of only 10 or so playmakers would almost make the cap redundant
