Reece should be on our bench as the utility. Excellent dummy half runner and good defence which will only get better.
Along with 3 forwards if and when available.

If Reece rumours of being let go are true our recruitment are a bad joke.

Lost by Dragons so called recruitment experts,
All good with decent pace, good defenders & with kicking skills

I think he is the best suited to hooker at the moment his attacking spark and flair might be what we need to get over the line
Mccinnes is also an amazing tackling machine who seems to make a lot of bad decision poor reads and lazy passes out of dummy half

Agree that his best position is hooker but I can’t agree on McInness. He’s an excellent dummy half and Robson isn’t at the same level yet. There’s a good chance though that Robson will go past him in a few years.

To me he just makes to many mistakes sloppy passes bad reads in attack and doesn’t count numbers I could be wrong but that’s my thinking

Time will tell on Robson but the now is this Kevin Walters just said on 360 that everyone in football knows Hunt is a 9. You can read into that as McGregor is not considered as a person in football within Kevin Walters circles

There were articles in a few papers and online news that Robson has signed with NQ. It was about a month ago

if Robbo leaves us I will be truly gutted......the worst thing that could happen to our club in many years to me

Out of ALL the kids, Dufty, Lomax, FIeld, Luch, etc ROBBO IS THE DAMN WELL BEST BY A LONG WAY!! and we let him go.... nice work WRECKERS nothing to see here only the fast death of our once GREAT club!

I think Hunt is a 5/8.
I'd say Hunt is a running half who plays the same style as a five-eighth. The fact that he is a right foot kicker means he is best suited to the right side of the field.

I would have Norman in the 7 jumper playing of the left side and Hunt in 6 playing on the right. I wonder if Mary and his staff have ever tried this in the off-season or at training?

Look I think the Cowboys have signed a player in Robson who will be a star. No club goes after a young player with only 3 bench run on NRL games and signs him reportedly for 4 years unless they know they are getting someone who may well be special. In saying that I don’t always think a club chooses to lose a player. Unlike fans, players choose their path and a four year contract, tropical North Queensland and the power of a one team town just might have been the reason why he is leaving. Oh and money, their offer trumped the Dogs.

The four year term should not have been a problem as he is young and talented. The money should not have been a problem, we did not have to sign Latimore, Allgood, Dufty, Field and possibly Graham. With that money alone we could have signed a top young prop and Robson with change to throw towards our backline problems.

I think the biggest problem may well have been his lack of faith and knowledge about his future at the club. I work with a guy who played with Parramatta and Easts for a while and then went to the London Broncos. He said that at least twice a year at Easts every player and their manager had a meeting with the coaching staff and had a discussion about the player’s performance, their progress, goals and the club’s plan for transitioning them to the top grade if they were not currently in the NRL side. He said that while there may be ‘other reasons’ for their strong recruitment and retention record, the Roosters handled their lower tier players well and gave them a sense that they were part of a wider plan and that they actually had a pathway to the NRL. He said that at Parramatta, at least during the time he played, he never knew from one week to the next what was happening to him and he thought only injury would bring him a chance at the top grade. That is why he left and went to England.
I suspect we don’t develop transition plans for our young players, or have planning meetings to outline their path into the NRL. Maybe Robson saw the writing on the wall.....being parked with his career in neutral as long as McInnes was used as an 80 minute hooker or becoming the new Kurt Mann and getting 15 minutes here or there in different positions.

If Robson is gone , and it will happen one day as McInnes plays full games and is knocking out 50 tackles a game he gets injured what happens then who plays 9 , Hunt , then who plays 7 ? Have they thought of this ? If Hunt stays at 7 then who goes to 9 ? Its like an Abbot and Costello scenario :)

If Norman's on the left, and Hunt's on the right, why does it matter what number they wear?
