Do you guys who use emulators play with joysticks or keyboard?

Xarcade stick. Has pinball buttons on the side for virtual pinball.

Have previously made my own arcade machine with lovely happ joysticks. These days I don't have the room so my media centre doubles as my arcade machine and the xarcade joystick can be put away afterwards. I still want to just hook up a ps3 joystick or similar for systems which were better with a d pad. Maybe one day.

My mega drive died years ago.

I picked up a small sega console that's the smaller than a bank card. My two year old son loves it. It has saved my ps3 and Xbox from being destroyed by his intrigue.

The best I can think of for you is the USB powered Logitech F310.

I have a wired Xbox controller that will just plug and play with some emulators. Others only require minimal fiddling.

Until recently when it died I also had the Street Fighter 4 arcade stick for PC which had an awesome joystick for MAME

Nope it's much smaller. The controller is tiny an is also the console. It's kind if weird I stumbled across it a year or two ago.
Oh I think I know what you mean. And you plug it directly into the tv right? Yep those things are awesome and eliminate all the fat-arsing around setting the unit up and changing cartridges, etc...

Awesome. From that lot, I had the basketball one, Sonic, Alex the Kidd, Turbo Outrun. The last one.... was that Dungeons and Dragons? I didn't see it on there, but was Michael Jackson Moonwalk on Master System or Mega Drive? And there was a rugby one, it was a top down game, was that mega drive or master system?

The last one was Double Dragon wasn't it, used to have a great multiplayer mode.

Well done, nice little compilation, fun and nostalgic to watch. Couldn't name em all though!

Yeah the last one was Double Dragon, but anyone can very easily get it confused with Dungeons & Dragons. I think MJ's Moonwalker was on both Megadrive and Master System, but I only ever played it on Master System. Not sure of any Rugby game sorry.

The rugby one was Mega drive, I still have the emulated version on the H/H MD. It's kind of fun, the ball bounces round insanely Lol.
There was a reasonable NRL game on the MD as well, must have came out near the end of the MD life, the Warriors were in it!:)

Yeah, those rugby games were World Cup rugby 1995 which was awesome cause the balance was just right. Use to setup a league with all the best teams then play as Scotland or Ireland whom were average for the ultimate challenge (their were 2 ea sports teams with a best of lineups, and lomu was near impossible to tackle so you had to get to the outside centre before he got the ball)

The other game was arl 96 which was based off the World Cup rugby game, but was broken cause they added a power button for the offense which made it too easy to break the defensive line. Not to mention as it was based off the rugby game, the guys still acted if it was a game of union at times.

I think Micitism and I are speaking about the same one. Na, it wasn't RWC 95. This was a top down game. Easiest move in the book would be to punt it deep. It'd bounce all over the place and you could fluke a pick up on the fly and go 40m bursting through blokes to go straight under the sticks.

Yep, just booted up the machine, International Rugby. Was by Domark. Quite a fun playable game, always reminded me a lot of Sensible soccer

Thats it. There was an Australian loose forward who was a demi-god in that game. Ran through blokes like they were bits of paper mache`.

I remember a WCW game from the mid 90s. You'd get the dude looking under the ring for a chair, if there was none there he'd turn and shrug his shoulders at you. He'd usually be about to cop a chair shot at that moment, but he had to make sure he got the shrug in.

Anyone ever get into the Sierra games? The first one I played was Black Cauldron as a young fella. Good times.
