Paying overs for nuffies and letting promising youngster go, that sounds like a club I know:sarcasm:Yes, keeping this crop of juniors coming through is more important than a few losing seasons. Stuart's history is paying overs for Nuffies while letting promising youngsters go. If that happens i will just about give up.
Correct, and this one many reasons we had to let Kearney go, lets face it he was not a coach players wanted to play or sign for, end of story!!If we do get Stuart watch the Greg Bird and Jennings rumours start.
How many youngsters have we lost under Kearney/Nolan???? Sounds like Parra under that clown Reddy though.Paying overs for nuffies and letting promising youngster go, that sounds like a club I know:sarcasm:
So yelling and screaming at the players will turn us into a premership threat???? It will take more than ranting and raving to turn us around.Disagree, these Turkeys dont give a shit when they are getting there usual flogging, and reason why is, because they know waiting for them in the sheds is a fluffy pussycat, hence the disintegration every game, wheres Stuart will stick it right up them and tell it how it is, this alone is a good enough reason to sign Stuart, wake this f**ken rabble up.
At least sticky will bring something we have been lacking for years ... Passion. If he can turn around this team and make us a force, he will be revered as a messiah !
Without doubt the hardest job in world coaching
According to Benny Elias he just stated on 2SM 1269 that Ricky Stuart will be our new coach. To be announced in 48 hrs. He is 99.99% sure.
Stuart will proven to be a worse signing than Kearney, happy to be proven wrong but ;-)
x2. Whether people want to believe it or not, he had good plans for the club but absolutely no idea in executing them.

You sir are a learned individual. This is a tough one for you Eels fans. To me Stuart is a 3 year coach. An extremely intense individual (in regards to passion and performing at your best every game) that will work well in your favour for the first few years. After that i believe the weekly grind of having a coach like him wears guys out. And here is the dilemma. When he leaves, how will he leave the club? Warren Ryan left Balmain because "the juice had been squeezed from the orange" which is fair enough to a certain extent, however as head coach it should have been his responsibility to make sure there was a lot more oranges coming through. I believe Stuart to be the same sort of individual. Hopefully for you guys if you do get him, there will be plenty of fruit left when he departs. As an outsider, i have no doubt the Eels will improve dramatically under Stuart, but i would also already be looking at a succession plan.
That is exactly what we need. Ricky is made of hardcore stuff. If ever we needed that much like the bulldogs is right now ! Des has made a soft outfit like the bulldogs into a premiership threat so we need exactly the same thing
