I think John Lang should be appointed head coach or Adrian Lam would be a option as well. By the way what about the current Kiwis coach? Does he have any interest at coaching at NRL level? All 3 are betetr options than Anderson.

What rubbish, Anderson took a Warriors side that the previous year to him coming in 2000 had finished 2nd to last and took them to 3 finals campaigns in a row including a Grand Final. It was only personality clashes that brought it crashing down in 2003, not actual coaching ability.

As for the St Helens playing roster, well you can apply the same logic to Stuart if you want to. He's only succeeded when he's had a great squad and in particular Brad Fittler, when Freddy hung up the boots it all turned to custard despite several high profile signings. Also with NSW and Australia he had far superior squads to Qld and Australia.

Things went to crap in 2004.

I personally though 03 was a better year than 02 as well.
