At the end of the day if the crowd looks good, just inflate the numbers like all other sports.
Then hopefully the match is good and it's all positive for the mainstream media

967 now!

I tried doing a quick count up today for the Samoa vs Kiwis test and its hard to get good idea how many have sold because they keep opening and closing bays. But my best guess is between 10-14,000...leaning to around 12,000. Hope im wrong...
That wouldnt be too bad, there will be a big walk up?

Ticket sales website shows pretty good indications of good sales? Not sure if we can take this for real? Apparently England v Lebanon is near sellout at SFS? The opener in Melbourne is stating close to selling out? It's probably false but that's what's being expressed. Question is: Is the ticket website information reliable or not?

Not sure if they maybe just playing around with the England v Lebanon build, but when I just checked there was still huge numbers of tickets available for this game.

As for Australia v England they either don't need to sell the Upper West or have just given up on there all together based upon their selling behaviour... Arguably they have filled enough in the North, South and East to make it look pretty close to full, however as they've kept selling, it's been here where they have kept opening up, selling odd-rows which had previously been held or returned seats...

Here's hoping that it's the former, because honestly if it's the later, they have really blown an opportunity, because there are thousands of people hitting these events on Ticketek, but only really 500-odd seats on sale...

As for some of the other games, the temporary stand at Cairns is now selling into the second last row, meaning we are sitting at around 4,300 allocated plus GA, so I feel this game should easily get to about 12K...

Townsville continues to sell in the East and Southern Stands. Possibly looking at around 5-6K allocated now (plus any GAs), so should reach 5x figures easily enough.

Canberra is filling up, however hard to make a call how many seats have been sold as there were a lot of Bays with large amounts of ticket holds...some you can see have been released and same you can see them opening up new Bays, but who knows...

I will give credit to the organisers for the number of Lebanese Community Groups they have reached out to and are selling into (http://yalla.rlwc2017.com)

For many of these games, Bays designated as “unavailable“ have simply never been made available for sale, and thus are completely unsold (ie On the day they will be empty)

Ticketek is the main retailer.
Ticket sale patterns are quite weird, as Yakstorm stated there is only approx 700 tickets available online through ticketek. You would hope that the seats in the upper level on the other side are already allocated because it wouldn't make sense that the area isn't available for sale, we know that some seats have been sold because a couple of bays were on sale last week.
Anyway, with approx 700 tickets appearing to be available in the areas that are open, worst case scenario the upper tier is completely empty (hope not) which is approx 6k seats that still gets us into the vicinity of 23-24k sold, but I am hoping that the upper tier is already allocated and we are pushing towards a sell out.

I hope to goodness I am very wrong. But going by the last PAX numbers at around 18,000 these are usually pretty accurate. That was about 6 days out from game.

By having these alternate ticket sites can impede actual ticket sales. For instance, if someone has looked at the "viagogo" site and seen the sold out message for the France v Lebanon game then these people will more than likely give up on buying tickets! Not good at all! It's bad business!

I couldn’t even find the tickets to the aus vs England by going to the Ticketek website or googling the game. I had to google rugby league World Cup and go through the offical site to find tickets. To a fan that’s not that clued on it is hard to find tickets.
