lol f**ken what?!? We had over 60% of the ball and he didn't set up a single try or linebreak ffs

He was solid, but 'outstanding' is a massive overstatement. Our forwards won that match. Moretti made more metres than nearly every Manly forward.

Absolutely.

We f**kin' smashed 'em, their yardage coming out of their own end was poor, and our forwards just dominated them.

I aint having a go at Asi, he done what was required, but f**k me Moses and Drown behind that sort of dominance just score at will.

As for young Jake, he aint gonna turn the tide, but behind that effort from his forwards he's always gonna look poor.

Old mate Schuster copped a f**king bath, meanwhile plenty of merkins cream themselves over his skills,.

We did ok but the team we played were worse than the Dogs last week.

I don't get the accolades for the halves bc at the ground we were very average without Gutho.

I think there are some people who must be crediting the halves for what Gutho did, because what we saw at the ground was a lot of clunk and lateral nothingness. Tackle 5 plays were mostly clunk as well.

We were blessed we did not play say the Warriors this week ir any other team origin unaffected or showing some sort of form.

Dolphins next Sat after a short turnaround for Mitchy and Jnr. Laney Hodgo back ?

BTW it was nice to see the 40 year premiership lads get introduced to the crowd. When the lights went dim, the old boys formed a guard of honor, but not Sterlo. He walked over to Laney and Hodgo and Baz and shook their hands and had a chat for a few mins, before a PR girl realised he was not in line and chased him away.

If Asi doesn’t have speed then Jake is stuck in reverse.
Comparing them based on one game? Asi also 'outplayed' Schuster tonight. That should tell you all you need to know about which pack dominated.

Arthur's strength isn't his running game while it is Asi's best asset. But Arthur is a better halfback, which is why he was ahead of Asi in the pecking order. How do you reckon Asi would've gone behind Manly's pack tonight?

Way too much crabbing. We were yelling at him to just tuck it under and run straight.
Think you’re being harsh. Apart from the dodgy kick I thought he was fantastic and did exactly what was asked of him. 16 runs for nearly 150m.
Gutho played the same role he does even when Mitch is there, I don’t think he changed anything about his play

I'm not saying Matto had a bad game, because his effort plays were there. But he's not a 6 and to be frank didn't play like a 6. We were lucky that the side we played basically beat themselves.

We were lucky today that we didn't need a kicking game or really functioning halves to win the match. Gutho layed on most of the plays, thank f**k for that.
