Yeah well in hindsight we all learnt something. Nobody criticised Sandow's defence as a reason not to sign him. It was all about 'steering the team around the park'.
Really? No-one had concerns about the Sandow signing at the time?

Hmmm, that's not quite how I remember it. He was a known speed bump with inconsistency in attack, and people were criticising the siging at the time.... Of course we all hoped he'd improve, but it wasn't to be. But to say we all learned something then, when some people (other than our coaching/recruitment staff) had clearly had learned it before is a bit of a stretch.

Yeah, I was against the Sandow signing from the beginning.
It was easy to see his deficiencies, in both defence and attack. He was not what our team needed, and I couldn't believe how many people were excited about his signing.

I know the players have stated how disappointed they were in letting in that last cowboys try - and so was I.

The one thing that has really crapped me off the last few years, is our inability to wrap up a game. EVERY single time we win - it is always a nail biter up to the siren. Why can't we ever be comfortable winners? God it's tough work following this side. I think the last time we comfortably had a game in the bag was v Manly in the 1st round last season - can anyone correct me?

We beat Wests 28-16 in Round 17 last year.

My bad, I was looking at the difference in points charged but just re looked and Scott gets a discount for being a good boy.

To be fair, I find it really hard to predict which crusher tackles get cited. Shit that looks bad in slow-mo happens in about 0.2 of a second in real time.

The NRL have created the crusher by ecouraging teams to wrestle!

So many of them are purely accidental and they still get charged. I didn't think either on the weekend in our game warranted a suspension of any sort tbh.

Well, I think I'd be placing the blame on the Storm before the NRL. It's not obvious how to create rules to discourage the wrestle (without turning it into oztag).
