Hey Crush, More than 50 years ago Rugby League was a game played by working class man working a fulltime job and then getting together with mates on the weekend to play the game they loved in a fair true manner. Ahhh the good old days.Very negative in here, already complaining about the ref, the media, predicting the most embarrassing game of the season.
Doubt it, tigers have been up for a few weeks now, they’re due for a flat week.
Dragons bounce back.
3W 3L after six rounds.
After the Super league wars the games has evolved into an entertainment product only.
The NRL has sold the entertainment product to the broadcasters 9, Fox, KAYO. and betting agency Who want the fans and punters to pay for it.
How many clubs are sponsored by a betting agency.... yes a lot of them. Just look at the team's jersey!
The product is so predictable now. Everyone can almost predict which team will get punish with these subjective 6 again bull shit calls, and dodgy subjective referee calls. The product is almost at the point of being staged.
Betting agency want predictability to entice the average punter to pay for the product.
Broadcasters want predictability to lure viewers into paying for the product.
Over 80% of supporters in the western suburbs and Penrith area are all paid stream viewers.
