Api was playing 40 mins last year. Playing 80 1st game of the season is a huge ask. So I think cover is needed

What was to gain by naming RCG in the starting team yet move him to the bench? Some coaches think they are smart trying such things

Crichton on the bench ain't too unusual. Plenty of teams are running with an outside back on the bench.

Still not my preferred option. I'd take him over Aikens. And he is heaping pressure of Whare and Mansour. I'd rather just see him start and focus on our attack which was completely blunt in 2019.

If he played right centre that would give us good cover for Mansour/To'o in attack and defence under the high ball (Naden on the left).

Yep it would be extremely unlike Cleary for us to run out 1–17.

Fish off the bench makes sense for now tho as he didn’t get a run in the trials.
