I never said we are going bad I’m happy with the team overall very happy in fact but we could certainly be doing better though.

Yeah, cut out the loose carries and soft penalties. Swapping Luai for Burton doesn’t fix that.

We did what we needed to get the win, talent is something but will and determination is everything. That's who we are this year. Talented, sure but more importantly, we are resolute about getting the result. The Roosters who we beat were beaten by the Melbourne side we also beat. We aren't just winning the tough games against plucky opposition with nothing to lose, but against the comps best. Aekins, Kenny and MWZ all have their faults but they all had solid games and we got the result. A lesser team with the same injury toll and inexperience, would have crumbled. I'm mighty proud of them. No team is perfect this year, but we seem to be shaping up to be one of the least imperfect. Big game next week. Up the Panthers! (fan since 1979)

It's the serious lack of imagination from Ivan when we were desperate for something in attack during the second half that only didn't cost us because it was the Titans.

So many options. Put him at fullback like Crichton earlier in the year. Luai has successfully played tests at 9 giving us some spark there so Kenny can get a rest.

we just won, in the wet, on the road.

how much imagination does he need?

I was watching a highlight video of Charlie Staines and couldn't but help notice how much involvement Burton had in those plays.

Good players make good things happen around them. At some point, we will need to rest players before the finals. I think Burton gets a run then.

Yes the change in mentality deserves big praise.

Well Luai is one of our most penalised this season. I just think Jerome has to start digging into the line more often, just dummy and go straight at the line when they have numbered up. With Kikau and Crichton attracting the attention of the defence he will have some success. He struggled to slide those grubbers through today because Kikau wasn’t there creating a bit of space with the defence covering him, if he’s just always looking to pass or kick defences will start having more success against him, they were looking for those kicks today.

Really? Burton WAS NOT, HAVE NOT, been given enough time to show his worth. Oh well, he will not sign. Well done, Ivan, if that turns out to be the case.

That's not what I meant.

Critta off the bench a game changer. 1st touch against the chooks scores.

Burton doesn't play that type of game. He's more of a Cleary type, steady strong....

Last time he was put on 1 try acored in the corner within the first couple of minutes he was on.

He's a game changer. But we don't need that type of game changer at the end of games LOL

he hasn’t done enough to force his way into the side and the others are all playing well enough to not get dropped.

I get that he’s one of your favourite players, he’s also one of mine, but look at the reality.

He got the three points in his last start. In the last ten minutes against parra he gets thrown on and puts Martin straight through a hole. 2 weeks later he’s dropped for a guy who was out for 18 months.

Anyone would think we lost.

Penrith won by doing as much as they needed too. If it ain't broken, don't pull it apart.
Did you see Bellamy after his team out 40+ on Broncos? He was livid.

The 2 points is great. But it doesn't mean we played well. Considering our injuries it was nice to get them. But our safe approach nearly backfired and our attack against one of the worst teams in the competition looked as bad as it did in 2019.

I hope Ivan reacts like Bellamy would after a game like that. We want to be a top side we need to react like they would. Be grateful for grabbing 2 points but still expect a hell of a lot more.

This is why there's so much talk around it.

He hasn't been given a fair crack, so how can he prove his value?

Put him on earlier. It is that simple. Lol.
