My point isn't about Sandow - it's that a kid with less than 15 games to his name shouldn't be tasked with babysitting Sandow.
If I remember correctly, Scott was babysitting THurston towards the end and Moroea (although a bit fatigue) could not get a thurston.

Mate I think you should. I personally think you are not all there. You do have a clue but you contradict yourself way too much and make yourself look stupid. I don't think you are stupid and surely you are not that much of a deprived sicko that you need this pissy forum to fulfill your insatiable urge to argue about everything.

If you are truly gone. I'm calling it. I am the Pou Slayer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:D:p:D

I just watched the presser. Basically Arthur went on to say that we are a mentally weak team who can only play for 70mins. We cant handle losing momentum, No leadership was shown out on field. Same problem all season we have to fix this.
My thoughts are we are lucky to play 55 mins not 70mins. Arthur didn't seem to take any responsibility for the loss and kept repeating we are a 70minute side after every question.
I also think B.A. could as they say these days lose the players if this keeps up.

I agree 100%! Correct me if I'm wrong but is this the first game all year in which Moeroa has played nearly the entire 80? If so how does it make sense to leave a tiring player out there who hasn't played the full 80 minutes all season in a game in which your 30-6 up?

Why don't you email the coach? There's no point asking anyone here.

Sadly, I think the first half just underlines our deficiencies.
When we play a strong side that are not on their game, like the Cowboys were tonight, we can dominate.
When however, a strong side stands up to us and plays to their potential, we get smashed.
I think tonight's 1st half just masked all our weaknesses, and the 2nd half showed us where we are truly at.
We aren't in the ball park in this comp. We truly aren't.

Suity

We were still allowing the Cowboys to play the ball too fast in the first half. Realistically we were probably lucky to be up 30-6 and the Cowboys were probably unlucky to be down 6-30.

It's been a problem for this team for over a decade and it's been this massive deficiency has been masked in the past few previous season because we always had a Plan B in The Plane to potentially get us out of trouble and get a win. This facet of our play, particularly in defence, has not improved one percent.

We also have a complete and utter lack of attention to detail on the multiple little one percent things that help you win games. It's disgraceful how little regard we show to some of the little 'extra' areas of the game that bring success. This mostly comes down to attitude, mentality and laziness though

Until we learn to win the play the ball area, particularly in defence, and show some attention to these little one percent details, then we will not see any kind of sustained success throughout a season.

Shouldve learned from last week after we led Penrith by a decent margain until they drew level in quick timing.

Once again poor attitude. I think there was a period where we gave them a sniff but instead of trying to grind it out slow them down we attempt a 40/20 which doesnt pay off and Cowboys are still in control.

That worked in the first half, simple kicks to the touchline giving our blokes a breather.

And it worked against Penrith when they clawed their way back. So what happened tonight???

Im just disgusted in tonights loss.

We really need to win next week against a Melbourne team who, despite no big 3, arent going to easy.

I didn't expect 15th at the half way point of the season.
Maybe you did. If you think we are doing better than expected, you are easily pleased.
Either that, or you meant to post that in the Panthers thread.

I never thought we would make the Top 8 by seasons end, but I thought we would've won a couple more games (i.e Titans and Warriors at Pirtkek) by now. But having said that I probably didn't think we would beat Souths at home and the Knights away...

I didn't think we'd offer up too much without The Plane. I can show you probably 4 games last year that we won pure and simply because he was on the field... That's 1/3rd of all our wins... It was never going to be easy.

I expected improvement.
I really haven't seen it on a consistent basis. It ain't good enough. With or without Hayne.

Rubbish.

We actually worked hard to be in that position. We deserved to be leading by that score. We were good.
We also deserved to lose because we lost the plot. There can be no excuses.

I agree we were good, we were playing great actually, but I'm not sure we were playing that much better than them to be deserved to be in front by 30-6.

The Cowboys have probably played worse and their opponents better this season and after 55 minutes the game was alot closer than it was today. We made the most of our opportunities, which we quite often don't, and that got us to the great lead we had.

Mate, we were up by 30-6. Simple.
We lost. 30 - 36. Simple.
No excuses will cut it.
It was embarrassing.
It was inept.
It was pathetic.

Let me just say first up... I like Parramatta.
I don't watch every Parra game but it seems to me they lack a culture of wanting to win in every scrap. Only wanting to do just enough to win the game. Hence why they were run down with what seemed to be an unassailable lead.
I could give you heaps of examples but one was the Radradra Try (45min). He made a break and I only counted four or five Parra players that ran in support, so many of them were walking, watching. This is five minutes after the half time break. Surely they can't be tired.
I'd rather a team of players that compete than a team full of talent but just watches.
You have a few wonderful players but a leader that leads by example is needed and hopefully Foran can do this for you, unless Arthur is the problem. The first thing Arthur needs to do is take responsibility for the loss. His excuse was were not playing for 80 minutes. Take some responsibility and fix it.
Back to lurking since the Cowboys part of RU is so quiet. :(

BA thinks we are a 70 min team? Try 50mins!

And no leadership on the field either - if Hayne was there, at least he would have been screaming at the players behind the tryline

I couldn't watch the 2nd half, could see the score changing on the internet. Just watched the 5 tries in 11 minutes. As well as their play the ball speed, and some awful decisions by defenders on our edges, have to say that the Cowboy's execution was pretty damn efficient.

Still struggling to believe we lost that one!!

No excuses it was disgraceful !!!

Also thought when we got to our lead, Sandow got a bit cocky. Also not sure if the 40/20 attempt was the way to go. Considering how much ball they had at that stage we should have completed our set then kick for touch.

Also where was our fullback? They pretty much scored several tries of kicks untouched

He started the infamous 5 year plan and the academy which you have championed on this forum. I'm just wondering when we are going to see some results??????
This place is the Titanic mate, the only mistake Kearney made here was just a 5 year plan. It takes longer to turn a club around than that. If he had of made it an 8 year plan we would be right on track.
