Where would you have him defend? We tried hiding him everywhere in defence when he was at Souths and it just didn't work. In the modern game you cannot hide an inept defender - teams will just figure ways to expose you. I think the only way that you can cover up his defensive frailties is to play him outside of a defensive centre, sort of like how the Dragons did with Soward.

As for Moeroa, I thought he had a pretty strong game up until the 60th minute. I get the feeling that if he was given a proper rest a bit earlier than when he was, his performance might not have dropped off.

I think at 20 years of age Moeroa is probably not an 80 minute player, but the damage had been done by leaving him out there.

Nah I'm f**king sick of these losers whinging all week and then f**king celebrating when we lose. They can get f**ked.

In fact you can all get f**ked. I'm gone.

Certainly not celebrating...

Alot will have to change in this playing group before there will be any celebrating.

I really dont see the big deal. We played 4 top sides in the last 4 weeks. And should be 4/4.
If Foran and Scott where in these games we are 4/4. Sandow is a weakness in defense and we will be so much better without him.As i said with Penrith it takes 3-4 yrs to rebuild a team. I am confident we are better this year then last. And next year we will be much better again.
There is not much between us and the top sides now. I do not even think a couple of top players.I reckon this current team in 12mths time would make the top 8.The addition of Scott and Foran will make us title contenders. I have been wrong before but i can see plenty too like. And also the improvement from young guys.A quality wing and fullback and its a very good football team we have here.
Will be our best halves since sterling and Kenny

Mate I think you should. I personally think you are not all there. You do have a clue but you contradict yourself way too much and make yourself look stupid. I don't think you are stupid and surely you are not that much of a deprived sicko that you need this pissy forum to fulfill your insatiable urge to argue about everything.

If you are truly gone. I'm calling it. I am the Pou Slayer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah it is but the point is some Titanics can't be turned around as quickly as others. Why do you think the best coaches won't touch our club? The most high profile coach we've signed since Gibson was Brian Smith, and he was known as a choker.

So a coach gets the sack, everyone feels the problem has been solved and some new deadshit's head goes on the chopping block.

You guys would kill to have Brian Smith back - yes he is a massive ego but it is common knowledge in rugby league that when it comes to setting up a club, then Brian Smith is one of the best in the business. In any case, that is ancient history. You ask the question why the best coaches don't touch your club? Which of these 'best coaches' have you approached? I think your board/CEO needs to take some responsibility for making some pretty ordinary appointments. For instance, whose idea was it to appoint Ricky Stuart or Stephen Kearney. Common sense would suggest that given the state Parra are in and the circumstance surrounding the job, it is not a position that is suited to a rookie coach.

If it is as you state and that the best coaches are reluctant to go to Parramatta, then its off all the off field dramas surrounding the club. I mean the club has a boardroom which is constantly squabbling and consists of people who don't know what they are doing. I mean it was only last year that your board voted against appointing that high profile ex-Macquarie bank businessman as a director. Also the fact that you guys have an CEO whose business credentials extend as high as being an ex-plumber is another problem in itself. These are just a couple of issues that I've rattled off. If it isn't a problem or a concern, then you wouldn't need to be putting in 'political turmoil' clauses into contracts for the likes of Foran. So what I'm saying is if the best coaches are reluctant to go to Parra its because of off-field dramas rather than not being given a fair opportunity.

we have been (apparently) rebuilding since 2011!!!

I dont know how we are a better team this year than last? Last years team actually were winning games at the start of the season and had the dally m player of the year.

I like the addition of Scott and Foran, i think they will make us competitive but we need more. The lack of talent in our NSW cup and NYC side scares me.

The first half underlines what the side can be with a strong gme from the 6&7, actually from the 6 tonight

The team is actually only a fullback, 7 , and a strike winger/ centre away from challenging the 8 or better

I love Sandow but really he is a liability when you have to play defence and control a game and not just attack, sad to say it but he needs to go. Morgan was pretty awful tonight, didn't see him help much when they attacked his side with kicks. To see what the side can produce in both halves made me come home very flat, not upset , just flat and disappointed at what should have been

Don't feel like there is much to look forward to this year other than turn up and watch, have a sense that next year will be decent

By the way, not at all comfortable with what DA is controlling, not going to say much because not too many want to believe it. He is not a positive for the club in his role and what he controls

We still by rnd 13 last year had been walloped 3-4 times. And out of the game by 25 min mark. That has yet to happen this year.We are not as bad as people make out.Plusplenty of guys in our side are still improving and not at peak-Norman-peats-semi-Jnr-Tepai to name a few. Even look at taka tonight beeing a litttle bit match fit.

Under 20's means $hit. We may have 3 guys who go on to play first grade and 14 that get cut. Another under 20's side may have 17 guys who go on to play NSW cup. Also depends on physical side of things.Players age etc..
Guys like Twal-fuimano-French would still be able to play under 20's. They will carve up next year. Put Tepai back in and all of a sudden we are twice as good a team .

I agree 100%! Correct me if I'm wrong but is this the first game all year in which Moeroa has played nearly the entire 80? If so how does it make sense to leave a tiring player out there who hasn't played the full 80 minutes all season in a game in which your 30-6 up?

Sadly, I think the first half just underlines our deficiencies.
When we play a strong side that are not on their game, like the Cowboys were tonight, we can dominate.
When however, a strong side stands up to us and plays to their potential, we get smashed.
I think tonight's 1st half just masked all our weaknesses, and the 2nd half showed us where we are truly at.
We aren't in the ball park in this comp. We truly aren't.

Hoppa/taka are good enough. If we find a fullback robo is good enough on wing too.I think we are short a Prop.Thou Twal is looking the goods.
Norman is going to become a star. And peats will become one of the best hookers in game next year. People dont realise that guys are stars from day one. We need a fullback, and if not a gun winger to compensate.

NRL is a simple game....Not much between top teams and the bottom ones. Not much between winning and losing. We are close.
Sandows defense is killing us.
We started the year 300k to players at other clubs and then lost KE before season started.Throw in the loss of HAYNE. We are going as good as expected or better.

My point isn't about Sandow - it's that a kid with less than 15 games to his name shouldn't be tasked with babysitting Sandow.

I didn't expect 15th at the half way point of the season.
Maybe you did. If you think we are doing better than expected, you are easily pleased.
Either that, or you meant to post that in the Panthers thread.
