The first half underlines what the side can be with a strong gme from the 6&7, actually from the 6 tonight

The team is actually only a fullback, 7 , and a strike winger/ centre away from challenging the 8 or better

I love Sandow but really he is a liability when you have to play defence and control a game and not just attack, sad to say it but he needs to go. Morgan was pretty awful tonight, didn't see him help much when they attacked his side with kicks. To see what the side can produce in both halves made me come home very flat, not upset , just flat and disappointed at what should have been

Don't feel like there is much to look forward to this year other than turn up and watch, have a sense that next year will be decent

By the way, not at all comfortable with what DA is controlling, not going to say much because not too many want to believe it. He is not a positive for the club in his role and what he controls
DA was never the right fit, he was only put in there for political reasons.

The guy can coach but this is not the role for him.

What a surprise.
We've had the weakest leadership on the field in the NRL for a decade.

Suity
But getting rid of Selfish Hayne was going to fix that.........

Add the great experience and leadership qualities of watmough, even better 3 more years of it........

Not many acknowledging that a team with two Kangaroo props, the best player in the world and a wrecking ball called Toumolololouolo got their act together and showed why they are premiership favs.

Not many have listed the possession stats in the last 25 mins. Just how do you get the ball back when momentum is against you ?

I'm just saying that what happened last night was far more complex than interchanges and blaming the coach etc.

Yeah we should be proud of the effort, the boys tried really hard. They are a really good side and we really shouldn't have been leading. It was really only 24 points no big deal really. We are just a good side out of luck.........

At the ground, they were given a standing ovation at half time. I refused to join in - I had a feeling we would capitulate

But yes, too much back slapping and "we have this won" when they took the 2 at 28-6

 troll, someone has to take up the cudgels I suppose with Pou doing a Chuck Norris on us.

We should all face it, ATM we are a mediocre middle of the road club where failure and non performance are accepted. And a coach who fails to accept responsibility for poor team performances. Can't blame us fans for being used to it and giving up. This short of shit should never be tolerated by the fans let alone the club.

Still struggling to believe we lost that one!!

No excuses it was disgraceful !!!

Also thought when we got to our lead, Sandow got a bit cocky. Also not sure if the 40/20 attempt was the way to go. Considering how much ball they had at that stage we should have completed our set then kick for touch.

Also where was our fullback? They pretty much scored several tries of kicks untouched

Agree with the Sandow thing. We didnt have the ball and he gave it back straight to them. The semi drop ball on the first tackle also hurt us.

Did you expect that the last place team would challenge a team on a 9-0 streak ?

We played good footy and 50 mins and need to learn from that.

I'll leave the whining to you.

Agree, I said at the time it was a strange move.....a very unnecessary one that had a lot more downside than upside. And certainly not a move that was going to foster harmony among the warring factions.

Well, you get the ball back by tackling for a set!
They skinned Sandow and Morgan alive out there.

Really, if we had made a defensive sub at 30-6 and replaced Sandow on the fringes, we win the game easily. Hindsight is everything of course.... at the time I was dreaming of the 50 point scoreline, and secretly calculating our for and against improvement....

Nah I'm f**king sick of these losers whinging all week and then f**king celebrating when we lose. They can get f**ked.

In fact you can all get f**ked. I'm gone.

yeah right, we could be so lucky.
Who is going to fill the void of inane dribble masquerading as footy talk?

Oh, bart is still here.

Was it brandy who had a go at Sandow for that silly mini grubber to himself?
i think he said something lime 'Sandow needs to stick to the game plan'. I looked at the clock and noticed 25 left and thought uh oh, we switched off.

Yeah it was piss poor 12 min effort but at least last night showed we have the ability to go with the top sides. And scoring points isn't a problem as was expected after Hayne.

You have to have rocks for brains if you don't think Scott / Foran and a fullback (probably Gordon) isn't going to make a massive difference to our side. Come backs from the last two weeks have all come down Sandow / Moeroa side, pretty much who will be replaced by Foran / Scott. While last night any decent fullback will have probably saved the game.

Anyhow did anyone think cooper was off side for the try which was reviewed for off side?

I thought he may have been.

Actually I would like to ask how Sandow was penalized for not being square, when the play the ball was 1m from the line. He was shoulder to shoulder with defenders.
