Good win. Infact any win for me since the salary cap drama is a good win, whether its ugly or not.

That's 3 in a row for the boys, now they get another weeks break to prepare for a big battle in the next game.

Defence is good, I think theyre 3rd overall for best defence. Out wide early in the game they didn't mark up properly, perhaps that's why Toutai and Gutherson swapped in the second half. But didn't give up. Souths probably didn't offer much in attack but Parra still didn't give up in defence.

In attack at times in the second half they looked a bit lost, trying the trick shots and thinking blokes are gonna punch through holes all the time. I swear they attacked Souths goal line about 3 times and didn't get much, but lucky for that knock on, they mustve realised Semi's our best attacking weapon, lets use it off the scrum. Great play to set up French. Big things ahead for French. Manu was good, Edwards was great.

I don't care if we're playing a low side, Parra are down on troops, lost players to other clubs and have copped so much this year, theyre doing the talking on the field and not worrying about off field stuff, especially BS in the media. Arthur deserves a lot of credit for keeping the boys together and turning up each week.

If they put in a huge effort against Cronulla and keep up those performances each week, then regardless if they miss the 8 or make it, 2017 certainly looks bright.

Tep had his best game all year, running wider as well. Out of our forwards he runs the best and toughest lines.

He also hit hard in defence, he put a great shot on Burgess which really set the tone.

Ma'u runs decent lines but he's best when given early ball (i.e. not running any line at all).
Yep, he is far more dangerous with early ball where he can use his footwork, Tep runs fantastic lines. Normally at the advantage line with little room to move, he nearly poked through twice tonight to score.

We have proven over the last 3 games we can dispose of bottom 8 sides (souths, titans and knights)

After the bye we play a full strength Sharks side at Shark park (sharks play warriors when we have the bye). We win this game and the confidence throughout the joint will be massive

We have Roosters, panthers and titans the following 3 games. No easy games, but very winnable for us considering how we been going

I think Hindy on fox was saying we only play broncos and sharks as top 8 sides from now on.

We most likely wont make the 8, but it will be very interesting to see how things pan out if we do manage to win our next 4 games

I think BA has to seriously consider Semi in 3/4 now. Way too good for wing.

Semi pops up wherever he likes, on the wing, in the middle and in the centres last night for French's try and he is the best finisher in the game.

Why on earth would anyone want to change the way he is playing ?

Ba has said b4 he will only pay so much for a winger. That is the dilemma. If he will pay what he is worth, everyone will like to keep him where he is but in saying that, at say fb, his involvement woukd be greater.

When his contract is up, manly or someone might say, semi the number 1 is yours with 700k tomreplace Stewart

We will say, here is 400k as thta is the most we will pay for a winger.

Why are the Panthers letting mans source go?

Sharkies are due for a loss. 10 straight wins there got the warriors next week so if they win that it will be 11 when they play us in a fortnight. While there origin players will be playing in that game it is the week before the game 3 team gets picked and may not be mentally where they should be. I reckon we are up to our eyeballs in that game.

If we are to beat the sharks, we really need to sort out our kicking game. Was below par last night because it was easy to pressure our sole kick option Normz.

I think he has been the biggest improver in our team this year from his shaky start in the early rounds to a very confident 1st grader at present.

I think he has plenty more improvement in him too.
