on top of our bad performance how bad a look for the club is it when players are injured no stretcher no medi cab. As for the game most points came on the back of our winger making mistake. there must be a center fullback we can bring in to replace them
Sivo and Tuisese might have downsides to them too. But they could match what Crichton and Phillips are doing atleast.

Even if nothing changes. Atlesst poor performing players are axed

Well on past form......Whare or Yeo to 6. He'll do anything not to play Luai.

I'm not big on Luai but why is he in our top 30 if the coach wont use him. Its bizarre really
Im no Hook fan. But yhe more I see of Luai the more I csn see why he avoids using him. Although he has done the same with May and he is looking good. No signs of his injury holding him back. Just looks fresh.

I can't see us winning the comp with Egan or Katoa at hooker. Think we needed a bit more experience in that role and Wallace had a quite smart kicking game too. Although he did have slow service out of dummy half so I understand why we may be better off without him. Regardless, Katoa starting is a bit of a passenger at times. If you look at the other top teams - Souths have Cook, Dragons have McInnes and Storm have Smith.

That was a nice afternoon ruined.
Playing a poor team at home with lots of injuries and we play shite.
42% possession
67% completion
39 missed tackles
50% bomb defusal.

Can anyone confirm that we beat the best team in the comp a few weeks ago?

Well it could have been worse for me. I was going to make the 3 1/2 drive to Penrith, watch both games and drive back for another 3 1/2 hours of stewing about the game, but for some reason I changed my mind this morning and decided that seeing the boys make mince meat of the sharks. Good decision me thinks!

Aekins in, DWZ back to wing for next week. Once Mansour is back we have a strong back 3 again. Add Blake with Peach to bench, we start looking stronger and hopefully stop going full tard.
forgot about aetkins. is he any good?

Seems to be going well in reserves. I see him as more of a like-for-like replacement for Edwards. Not sure he can be worse than what we got from the wingers today?

Was a poor match to watch live. Couldn't even beat a struggling side even when they made 14 errors, because we made 15 and our origin halves didn't step up at all. Tamou in particular was hopeless with his go forward, what a surprise.. No urgency or enthusiasm at the start and you can't always expect to recover from that and now we are not recovering from poor starts, we're just continuing to play poorly. Unlikely to make the top four and with form like that would be lucky to make the 8.

....

Without RCG our front row is being destroyed. Our defence has lost itd intensity. Therexno one sparking our go forward with sn aggressive run. He was a big reason out psck dominated. He fired guys up.
A lot of people didn't get this. They just look at stats. RCG makes a tackle and smashes a bloke into the middle of next week. Leota makes a tackle and gently wrestles the player to the floor. They both count as one tackle. Its the same with a 10m metre run into the heart of the most aggressive forwards, RCG takes on the toughest, Leota goes wider. Both make 10m.

We miss his aggression. NSW missed his aggression.

You can't lose your only current rep forward, two back up props and expect to match Tapau and Trebjovic. The decimation of the back line has really started to show the last few weeks. We have virtually no pace and Phillips and Crichton are still learning how to be first graders. They will have form dips. Its not helped by Peachey having a shocker. It means Whare and DWZ have to do it all. They can't.

I hope Kikau is ok.

i gotta give it to Aussie Jim - has he missed a game for us yet since signing? then i realise - he does inject himself enough into the game to risk getting injured....
