Mate 33 tackles is great but it’s the 10 he missed through absolute laziness and arm grabbing that cost us big metres.... Host has the ability but since coming back from injury he has become a basic footballer with poor discipline

Even at the end we are screwed over by these pathetic officials...when was the last time you saw a penalty given for a bloke trying to pull a player up when its obvious hes not attempting to play the ball...utter bullcrap

And Mcinnes plays the ball into a guy making no friggin effort to move and no fckn penalty.
Blokes laying on players looking at ref and nothing.
Dufty on ground touched that is tackled and pushed back in goal and nothing.
I'll chip in for the fckn $10,000

They tried their best, refereeing was a joke, Field, not first grade half, how many times did he get caught on the last. Aitken, what can you say about his performance, consistent, terrible.
We got beat, but we were in it longer then I thought we would be.
Rava, Sims Lucky and Cam stood out.
Yes mate they did try their best but the game was well and truly there for the taking...I know we are down on troops but seriously Field and Aitken just are NOT 1st graders....and to add Lafai should not have played tonite ....he was a bloody passenger out there tbh.....

Well like I said earlier we can’t complain about the effort but execution & Cummins let us down. Sorry but if we see Field again in the nrl it’ll be too soon.
We needed Luc on the field at the end for points & he’s sitting on the bench.
What’s with bringing Korbin back on so late with 4 to go.
Did Lats not play the 2nd half.

I was at work keeping an eye on the game through my phones foxtel app.
I know it was wet but did we try a grubber at all on the last?
I knew those halves would cost us tonight.

His d was Good tonight as Well as his attack

You're right Samy but it was his effort that really impressed me tonight.

Showed us he has got a good motor.

His skills are without question imo but need to see that type of effort more often.

He will get better with time...

I don’t think the team was inept at all, our forwards played very well and I think i’d play Allgood before Latimore in future. I have been a Kerr critic and I still maintain that he is ponderous and slow around the ruck but he made some powerful runs. Maybe he is worth one more year. Field tried hard, too hard. I can understand it, Nichols was his partner but he was caught with the ball all too often. Lafai was not fit and it showed. McInnes was simply outstanding and Luc showed glimpses of what he could be. As usual the bounce of the ball went against us.

B.s. host did 33 tackles and play well

Sorry Samy, have to disagree.

Host is a good starter but he's not an 80 minute player. We need to factor in an interchange for him early in the second half. He's been tiring around the 50th minute for weeks now. There were a couple of shirt grabs there that lead to at least 1 try tonight and there's been a few defensive lapses in previous games as well. At this early stage in his career, he needs a break in the second half.

Field isn't ready for first grade. There were a heap of last tackle plays that died with him. He needs more time in reggies if we are going to keep him. Backup only at this stage.

Luc is good in spurts but also tires quickly if left on too long. They were picking him off close to the ruck and making some easy meters when targeting him.

Lawrie doesn't make an impact. It's like watching someone hit a brick wall every time he runs.

These guys might be good in time, but at the moment they don't look like they are ready for the NRL. At least not week in week out.

Didn't get to see much of Kerr, Kaufusi or Allgood. They weren't on for long. But they seemed to do a reasonable job when they got their chance.

Poor discipline you have to be kidding
Ref singled him out for a standard escort and good on him for trying to drag KB to his feet to play on I am sick if refs not making players play on quickly
Other than today game where do you think he had he been ill disciplined?

I am seriously done with aitken.

If anyone is looking for why we lost that game, look no further than his inability to make a single tackle when he had 2 or 3 chances to stop that last try.

Piss poor.

Let his team down badly.

Must be dropped...
