Hopefully Griffin takes the leash of May and allows him to play his natural game of heads up football.
As oposed to being restricted as he was last year of just running the ball and making tackles.
With Cleary not beside him this game there also comes a huge responsibility on his shoulders to create something.

I hope May blitzes it so his form is so good that he plays off the bench the rest of the year.

The Panthers go into the game without Origin representatives James Maloney, Nathan Cleary and Tyrone Peachey.

Isaah Yeo assumes the captaincy while Tyrone May and Jarome Luai, who have enjoyed success as a halves combination in the ladder-leading Panthers ISP side, get their chance to impress on the NRL stage.

Waqa Blake makes his long-awaited return from a syndesmosis injury while Corey Harawira-Naera has overcome a groin issue to take his place on the bench.

The Panthers will wear the 2018 Home Jersey.

I'm really happy with it under the circumstances. T-Bae in the halves, Yeo captain and Blake back is brilliant.

Swap around Kikau and CHN and it is a great team. Looks much better with 2 actual centres in it

Agree, I'd much rather Kikau coming off the bench in this game. I think CHN would be fine to soak up the earlier barrage from the Warriors, and Kikau can then tear the game open when he comes later.

Kikau is better though.

Kikau is a weapon. You want him getting one on one with the halves. Get him on after 30 mins or so when the defence is tiring. CHN is a good defender and runs good lines so you are still getting an attacking threat
