Round 17 V Warriors

We could also win by 50 as we did in this game 5 years ago with a side containing Moylan in his 4th game, Isaac John and Luke Walsh in the halves, Kingston at 9, and with such superstars as Travis Robinson, Lewis Brown, Tim Grant, Sika Manu, Adam Docker, Sam Anderson and Clint Newton.

Watched highlights of that game last night to make myself feel better.

No. You've made me see the light. He's not good enough. I stupidly thought a 20 year old half had room for improvement. But as you pointed out his age is irrelevant.

He peaked against Dragons is actually getting worse as this season goes on. Same thing happened to Carty.

I think it is partially because he has his hands on the ball less with Maloney demanding it more. His running game in particular has gone missing. Either that or other teams are reading it well and it is predictable now.

Looking back at that roster. It defies belief that side could put on that many points.

Shaun Johnson had his worst ever gsme that night too. Got hooked and all. Making Isaac John look like an immortal is not easy to do.

I think its largely because we have basic game plans relying on brute force or individuals finding space in broken field play.

Either way we dont need Cleary. Isaah Yeo and CHN would form a nice halves combination. Better suited to our game plan too.

Somehow manages to look like a running back rower but has creativity and better agility. He's like Carty if he worked hard but May has better playmaking.
They better find a role for him in this team or he will move on.

Gould said recently that he thought we would have won the semi final in Brisbane last year if May hadn't gone down. The side will be his to run tonight. Cometh the hour...

I think so too. Moylan or Blake play too we win. Same with year before injuries have killed any chance we could win

Was that the last home night game we played against them?

Played them in 2015 at 5:30pm.

last year at 3pm. They led 28 -6 at halftime and we mowed them down to win 36-28. The ref believe it or not was Ben Cummins.
Their 1st game back at Penrith since. I wonder if we can open up some old wounds?

Quite a few our fans left that game at half time. Glad I stayed.

I was in the car on the way home from Canberra and the my Brother had the game on the radio. I wanted to put my boot through it by halftime. I don't know why but we kept the game on for the 2nd half.
Glad we did.
