Looks like our season has ended. 4 points from 8th position, I think is to much to make up. Even with our "easy" draw.

Sometimes you play someone who is in freakish form. Reynolds today could have kick left footed, blind folded and hit Johnston on the chest in the panthers in goal.

Souths first try scored via passing wasn't until the 58th minute.

Great efforts from Edwards, CHN and Merrin.

I had Reynolds in my fantasy team but didn't select him because he struggled since returning from injury.
He score 65 pts. 43 pts more than the idiot I selected in his place.

I tried to avoid this place cos I knew it would only make me angrier but I'm clearly a sucker for punishment.

Let me firstly say, that was horrendous & completely agree Griffin has to take some responsibility but I don't feel that was indicative of how we've played all season. We haven't been great, but today was just one of those days.

Seems every time a team plays aggressively against us & shows a bit of mongrel, we just can't cope & fall to shit. Likewise after we've had a tight loss the week before, we just can't seem to move on. The exact same thing happened after the Roosters game. Surely this is when we've gotta expect more from Tamou & Merrin (who I thought was brilliant the first 20), in saying that though the players across the board have to take responsibility.

Moylan as per usual was perfect & it was all Griffin. Can't understand why Griffin told Moylan to try and be a hero & throw a 30m cut out ball to an already marked winger when he could of just rolled into the in goal and built even more pressure when we were completely in control. That moment from Griffin changed the entire game.

Burgess on an edge makes the bunnies a 10x better team. Maguire caught us off guard & He ran riot after his sin bin.

How many tries did they score off kicks today? 5 or 6? Like we got spooked last week & no one wanted to contest or Shepard.

Name one person who has said that. Griffin defence force making shit up now.

Everyone has called Moylan out on that shocking pass. But it isnt his fault one bad pass turned his team to shit despite still leading.

I forgot though... the coach has nothing to do with our attitude, orour attacking structure, or our bench rotation or defensive structures or any of that. He apparently has no responsibility at all... why even have a coach then?

Yeah it was all Moylan's fault for 1 bad pass. Also his fault we haven't beaten a top 8 team all year. How does poor Griffin coach with this mong in the team?

Your right that pass changed the game but let's not bag the innulted one , when the game got a bit tough he went missing big time and don't kid yourselves he didn't, don't believe for one minute he is the answer to our 6 problem what you all witnessed today is what he offers under pressure, and before all and sundry condem this post remember he is the captain of this side and not the leader this side needs when challenges like this arise , it wasn't that long ago Bryce got absolutely punished on this forum for throwing intercepts such as this but hey it's Moylan he was just trying .

TBH I simply wrote that cos I knew I'd get a reaction, and sure enough I got the first four. Cha Ching.

Billy, we went from being well on top & potentially 14 - 0 up, to being under the pump from that point onwards. Do you think it didn't influence the game? Did we lose solely based on it? Impossible to say, but that was a huge turning point in the game, especially for a team as mentally fragile as ours. Whether he was playing 6, 1 or 10, for our captain & arguably our best player to attempt such an arrogant & brainless play like that, it's undefendable. But he will be defended.

No one thought Moylan was going to work instantly, that's why many of us bemoaned the lost development time he could've had there.

No doubt it was a shocking pass, he played a poor game and deserves criticism.

However zero wins from seven games against the top 8 is on Griffin.

How is that not obvious?

Of course it influenced the game, but good teams don't allow one bad mistake to do that. They're mentally stronger & that's where good coaching comes in.

So Cartwright is your long-term 6, then?

No, it's not impossible to say. We didn't. The end. To think any differently is insane. Because otherwise, what you are basically saying is that Moylan has to be utterly perfect at any given moment in a game, because otherwise it has a chance of causing the entire team to collapse. After all, we were 8-0 up and there were 60 minutes left. If a Moylan mistake at that stage is an acceptable excuse for losing the game and shipping 42 unanswered points, he might as well give the game away.

Yep let's blame the coach for shit discipline he sent the message for the crap pass and the missed tackles at some stage the players to to be accountable for there actions

I am not the coach so it's not my call but it was convenient to blame Cartwright for his faults but Moylan is exempt from the same errors? And like I said watch him over the next few weeks and see how he handles pressure and get back to me .
