If both Maloney and Cleary are out then surely Egan would play half there are no other options.

The club seems to playing its cards very close to its chest.

Probably hard to make a call until after tonights game.

If Maloney doesn't pull up well then we may need to risk playing Nathan.

It really is a must win game for us if we are to be a realistic chance of making the 8. We can't afford to drop games against lower ranked sides.

Katoa's suspension is really unfortunate timing. I imagine if he had been available, he would have been in the 21, and be a near certainty to play off the bench.

Instead, we either need to:
a) Rush Cleary back
b) Play Maloney who will likely be busted from SOO
c) Play Egan at Half, and run 4 forwards on the bench

None of these options are ideal - and even though we're "only playing the Titans" - this could really hurt our momentum, and our position on the ladder which is very precarious.

Perfect comparison though I think Jimmy is the type to like backing up.

Much easier to back up when you've let blokes like Papalii stroll by you rather than getting in their way.

Watching the Warriors game and I'm noticing they created an extra man on the right a few times but Yeo stepped back inside rather than pass to the winger. Hopefully that is rectified with two genuine centres this week. Yep is so much better in his normal position though deserve credit for the effort and defence while covering the position. Might cut a video to demonstrate later tonight.
