Am I missing something with Leota? Sure he made a couple errors last night, but every time he’s come into the game, he’s looked to start our set off well with his runs, always looks like he’s going to break tackles, same can’t be said for Merrin and Tamou all year tbf....

Yeo should be made captain permanently imo - his game has gone another level, he was very unlucky to not get a line break, he looked dangerous every time he took the ball forward.

Really fancy our chances in Brisbane, a bit of payback for last year and with the inclusions of mansour and the 3 origin players, it’s a huge morale lift to squad performing quite well of late.

Really hoping we don’t get any more injuries this year from now, we have the team and we can get in a real roll and stamp ourselves as a genuine threat

C’arn Panthers !!!!

Leota plays in our top 17 now but McKendry is an old head. Much better to have especially how things are atm

Anyone notice our attack has changed a lot the last 2 weeks? We are playing much more direct and at times putting players behind the ruck with an inside ball from the hooker. Yeo seems to take this run a lot. After this we hit the edge. I don't know if this is the influence of Ciraldo because I don't know his style but it's really nice to see a bit more direction in attack.

Also:

Matt Moylan: 104 games
Chad Townsend: 129 games
Jayden Brailey: 36 games
Valentine Holmes: 95 games

Total = 364 games

Vs

Jerome Luai: 3 games
Tyrone May: 11 games
Sione Katoa: 25 games
Wade Egan: 9 games
Caleb Aekins: Debut

Total = 48 games
You need to add Segs if you are going to include Egan.

Two different issues here. Yeo is a fine player, and played very well last night as he does every week. But that doesn't mean he should be made captain permanently. I'd wait another two years. Captaincy of this club seems like a poisoned chalice if you go through them.

I did that to help being it closer for the Sharks since one of ours was a debutant. I was actually rigging it in favour of them to demonstrate the huge difference.
Remember a particular supporter of that club, who shall remain nameless, has poor comprehension skills. That is what I was highlighting.

Those 2 are better ATM then Ellis, Hetherington and maybe Leota.

Crichton isn't a FG yet anyway. We have done well despite the back 3 and ordinary bench
No maybe sbout it.

Mckendry isnt as ill disciplined as Leota. Although what impressed me most was the impact he had. I had written him off from ever being effective again. But he was until his latest injury.

i like others like to look at all aspects of a win or loss.The reality is with so many out we can just sit back and say well done boys.It was always going to be tough.I believe this loss win give us a huge boost come the back end of the year when many of the injured have returned

I totally agree. All 3 of the origin players looked just plain tired (and perhaps even a bit emotional) after the game on Wednesday.

Get them back in on Monday and we can all work together for the next game.

Peachey has no excuse for being tired.

But Maloney outside of his sin binning has played every minute of every game he was eligible for this year

Cleary has played at a higher intensity and covered more metres than any other player in all 3 games.

James Maloney should not play rep football again. His performance on Wednesday night was disappointing to say the least.

Shush you will leave yourself open for attack. I said the exact same thing the other day.
