Lovett is not solid I’m afraid. Average Missed tackles in cup is 3.5 per game. That’s terrible.
Liam Martin misses about 5 tackles in first grade a week mate…..

Lovett is young with potential let’s get behind him on Saturday I will be.

In fact after this we have no home game for 8 weeks til the last round so I’m hoping our members and fans get off their arses and get out there let’s urge the boys home with a vocal atmosphere it’s a big game for our club as we all know let’s give the boys positive energy and encouragement.

We can win this game but we need Ilias and Ta’affe to step up.

Hahaha. If Ben ran the ball like Liam I might have a higher opinion of him. Unfortunately he doesn’t.
doesn’t stand out in reserve grade. Won’t make it in the nrl.

New Dad Tass has a new motivation: https://www.rabbitohs.com.au/news/new-dad-tass-has-a-new-motivation

Opportunity aplenty for Taaffe's new look Rabbitohs: https://www.rabbitohs.com.au/news/opportunity-aplenty-for-taaffes-new-look-rabbitohs

Shaq Mitchell full of pride during Naidoc Week: https://www.rabbitohs.com.au/news/shaq-mitchell-full-of-pride-during-naidoc-week

Some decent interviews there with the boys. They all seem excited for the challenge. I think Taaffey summed it up pretty well. While I am pretty concerned about this game, we also have to view it as an opportunity, and that could be exciting.

Bottom line is that the squad cannot afford to drop points against two dummies tel St Gorge et Bulldogs. It will cause severe problems in the last 8 weeks and likely mean that any GF aspirations were lost in this idiotic period.
Let's abuse Gwenda Gould here. How fortunate and coincidental for Gwenda that Cody Walker and Keaon suddenly get selected for this dead end game for Brad a game that really has very little excitement or meaning BUT its when we are scheduled to smash Gould's no hopers. Had Cody and Keaon played we put a big score on a horrible outfit built by Gwenda herself.
Both Brad and Gwenda hate us and their only cheering is for Penrith OR Easts. We can only hope that the players selected by Demetriou get really fired up this is perhaps THE biggest of the season thus far. We have 7 starters out, give or take Arrow's listing. Win here, against all odds, and it makes the last 8 weeks pulsating: lose and it just extends the frustration that a side awesome at its best - and they truly are - cannot get there and cannot give Walker, Murray, Cook et al the Crown they fully deserve.

I don't know whether I'm getting more nervous or more excited as we get closer to game day, but the feeling is certainly building.

Gotta say, I think it's more nerves at this stage.

You can make comparisons between this game and the Dragons game; however, I still believe we didn't lose the Dragons game because of who we were missing, we lost it because of our attitude. The Dragons wanted it more and it showed.

If we make sure that is not the case this weekend, we make sure that WE want it more and that the attitude is on point, I think the baby Bunnies can give a really good account of themselves.

So JD says Arrow is a certainty to play after the bye against Brisbane.

Trell is looking better if he’s not back against Brisbane will be the game after we aren’t gonna rush him.

Jason Demetriou Round 19 Media: https://www.rabbitohs.com.au/news/jason-demetriou-round-19-media

JD very upbeat and excited about tomorrow. He's right too, we shouldn't put too much pressure on some of these young blokes. They shouldn't be under massive pressure to get the win. yea, we need a result for sure but don't focus on that. Just go out there, give your absolute all, show us what you've got, and if everyone does that, the result will take care of itself.

He also confirmed that AJ will be captain while Tom is off the field so that's cool! First time he's captained Souths too!

Cheeks seems to be out so there's been some chat about changes of positions.

Some talk that Tass may play left edge second rower, but I don't really believe that.

Surely you'd think it would be Kennar to right center, Milne to the bench with Tallis to start or maybe Milne to start on the left. Tass will stay where he is surely.

Whatever is happening, Kennar will now be in the 17 somewhere.

Milne will play 2nd row, he played lock in internationals and richie will slot back at centre, tass is not a forward
