IMHO the team “appears” soft in the basis that so many in here have continually over rated its ability

So many opinions that De Bellin was a world beater, T Sims was a weapon, the other Sims was going to bash everyone and provide impact off the bench, Bird was a test quality player, the juniors only had to get into 1st grade to be the spine of a premiership if not a dynasty, Lomax was “the chosen one” possessed of all that was needed to have his winger scoring doubles and triples week in week our, Dufty was of Teddy proportions, Hunt could single handedly change our fortunes. Vaughan was our gain and “Sticky’s” loss, Kerr was the junior that slipped through Bellyache’s fingers and so it goes on.

Our team performs like it does because it is what it is.

Vastly over rated by its supporters.

NB: So much was also said about the value of the juniors we lost to other clubs and how we should have kept this one and that one but funnily enough very few if any regretted loosing Garrick and that in itself says something about the judgement of this place.
