Does Sitaleki Akauola have a fitness problem? Is this guy like Fui Fui Moi Moi was when he started his career? Comes on for impact then he's pooped after a short burst.
Or is it that Hook can't manage his bench properly or doesn't trust Akauola with big minutes?

He has played 4 games this year for very low minutes.
Round 2 started 21 minutes. Not used again for remaining 59 minutes of match.Injury to Whare may have changed things.
But.
Round 14 15 minutes
Round 16 10 minutes
Round 18 6 minutes

Hardly worth it. An explosive hooker coming on seems a better option when the opposition forwards are tiring.

I do feel he has been underused and it is a waste of an interchange but the lack of round 18 minutes was because he was hooked after six minutes. He shoulder charged a guy giving away a penalty, forearmed/face massaged a guy giving away a penalty and I believe dropped the ball when trying to play it. It was the dumbest six minutes I have ever seen from a player, I hope he learns from it, we've been lacking some hard straight runners and he might be a good option.

I think thomas leulia is leaving at the end of the year and he backed lolohea for his spot at 5/8th but otherwise he will definitely be looking for another club if he continues to play no minutes. yesterday he only played 2 minutes, made 5 metres and 1 tackle. massive waste of talent to have him reduced to that
