We have had an easy draw. Of the 6 teams only play once we got, storm,roosters,sharks,manly,panthers,knights. Storm also minus origin stars.
Thats 5 teams you kind of happy not to play twice .

I still think we have the team to win comp. But need to find form fast. Nothings sticking at moment but it only will take one game for that to happen.

Terepo, Frank need to come in ASAP. Tims times up, tough call but one thst must be made.

I fear the loss of Radradra maybe as significant as Mansours absence was for the Panthers earlier in the year.

Agreed, he does the work of a forward.

And our middle forwards and go forward is about the worst in the comp. we were bullied today by Woods and a pack of kids and reserve graders. Hopefully Evans isn't the last of our middle forward signings.

A realist? TBH you're a fcking fruit cake. It was not long ago we beat the dragons. We are winning and winning ugly, but a wins a win. We aren't a contender IMO, and will only be making up numbers if we manage to make the semi's, just like saints and your team the panfers.

I reckon we still have time to click, we looked clunky a lot of the time in attack yesterday but there were also some plays that were as good as any other team is going to produce.

Agree on Mannah in as much as he looks to be playing busted, I don't reckon it's permanent, but the bloke looks like he will benefit from some time on the sideline. But I agree with Pou on his defence, whilst Pritchard and Penis hands will offer more in attack, defensively they don't match Mannah on a week in week out basis.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was outside the top 17 in his final year (he will be 31) but injuries aren't keeping him from the bench. Any middle forward can start the match. It doesn't mean they're better. In fact I'd say that the number of minutes a forward plays indicates his quality more than whether he started.

Today our bench forwards Alvaro and Matagi both played more minutes than Mannah and Vave. And Edwards played more than Moeroa. There's no magic specialness about being on the field to start the match. Every minute is just as important as any other.

You make some good points Pou Bear. I think NRL is now if not a 17 man game, it's definitely a 15 man game, as every team runs 4 front rowers and 80% of them play between 35-45 mins.

I wouldn't say we're shit. We need an attacking general out there to put teams away. Norman has been piss poor thus far, he really needs to take ownership of being a half if we are serious about playing in September. Playing in patches won't get us there. A huge test this Friday and if we're a genuine top 8 team, we should give the donkeys a good run. Taking the biscuits home will be huge for our season.

The points differential tells a story. Parra have the talent but are unpolished like the panthers.
Saints seem to lack the talent but are a much more polished team.

The eels and panthers can win the comp. But both need halves to click.

For us if Norman and Moses both hit 2016 form we become a high quality team.
Then guys like Jennings,Semi,Bevan, taka are good enough to create havoc.

In the forwards KE is starting to hit form with Vave. Tepai needs to step up and Terepo comes in for Mannah.

For the Panthers Cleary/Moylan hot and cold. Wallace just come back and Merrin and Cartwright to add. Edwards gets better every week as is Mansour.

Saints = Polished team but dont see any dynamite or improvement. Same goes for Manly, Cowboys.
On potential this is how it sits. Some teams may never hit peak form. I reckon bar storm most havent.

5.Panthers
6.Eels
7.Manly
8.Saints.
9.Cowboys.

Canberra are as good a team as 5-9 and potentially better. Halves out of form.And now its to late.
