Before every game - you could put money on our tries being scored by either Semi, French or Gutho.
I am sure they have scored half our tries this year between them.

Quite amazing really. Throw in a few from Jenko and we do not have many try scorers really.

On a side note - I was very surprised to see that Tedesco has only scored 3 tries this year.

Canberra are 1 - 5 (4)
Penrith 1 - 3 (2)
Saints 2 - 3 (1)
Eels 3-0 (- 3)

These games where decided by less then 4 points. All flip of coin games that either team could of won.
On that basis take 3 points from us. Add 4 to raiders.
Who needs the Fox Lab predictor when we have Hindy.

Simple mathematics. Canberra been most unlucky team in NRL. On law of average you will win 50% of one score games. We are at 100% while they are at 17.5%
Absolute rubbish, they have been shit and deserve to be where they are.

They have barely had any injuries whatsoever, take the other night for example Melbourne lose their best two players and they still couldn't get the win no matter how many piggy back penalties the refs gave them.

At the end of the day come rd 26 no one remembers how you won. Its just that you did.

It would be nice to put a team away but winning close games is mentally just as important.

Look atm the tigers and knights just don't know how to win and forgotten how to

In years gone by there has been 4 games we have won i reckon this year where we would have found a way to lose.

To be honest even Id be happy with whatever win from now in, even if its against Newcastle and by a point. With all the injuries we've copped, and now adding Gutherson to the list makes it more tough. It'll be a good achievement making the finals but we haven't made it yet. The position we're in now is safe for the time being as long as we don't drop too many games.

We might be playing scrappy but I think it'll test them winning the close games.

Looking back I'm glad the Tigers took those penalty goals when they did, I thought at the time they'd score after getting repeat sets.

Only in the mind of Penny111...but we all know he's inventing shit to make himself look like the great mind he thinks he is.

Unfortunately for him it's rare to find a great mind that can't speak their native language properly.

Heres a language you may understand mr i accept mediocrity

Ah, the old "anyone who disagrees with me is accepting mediocrity" straw-grasping. Yawn.

On what planet does winning close games make us a worse side? That's the implication you're trying to make because you desperately want to be seen as some kind of rugby league savant. It's tiresome. Drop the schtick and you'd be bearable, at the moment you're just talking utter shit and trying to make out that you know everything there is to know whilst chanting "Mr 85%".

It's boring.

No they have been good, we have just been lucky apparently and should be behind St George, Penrith and Canberra on the ladder.

What I am stating is we are not on form a better team then Saints,Panthers,Canberra. I reckon they are slightly better then us.
But i reckon we are better then the cowboys and as good as Manly who are above us. Titans about equal just poor start to season with injuries.

In 2 weeks form can change. We beat Brisbane this Friday and I will put us on par with them. Bar Storm no teams at full potential. If think we are then your a moron.
We are in a form slump. I reckon we played better rnd 1 and 2. Luckily we still been able to win

Read above ......

I dont think we been good the last month. Yet won all 4. Our forms down. We are clunky and yet to put in a complete 80min performance.
When we lose momentum we compound with silly penalties and brains snaps on 4th or 5th. We find a way to let teams stay in the game rather then get momentum back which at times seems to take 20mins after losing it.

Dumb errors, dumb penalties etc.....

The Raiders are the epitome of dumb errors and dumb penalties ffs! They lose close games because of their dumb footballers, not because we're luckier than them

Teams that consistently win tight games generally do so on their defence.

Whilst luck plays it's part in any game, or season for that matter. I don't believe anyone who's been paying even the slightest bit of attention to the Eels this year could say we've been lucky.

I'd go as far as to say we've won a few tight ones despite our luck,

Can you please do the win/loss ratios for the last 7 weeks for the teams that have better "form" than us and compare it to our "form"?

Thanks.
