True odds for Parra should never have been any better than $50. Prince of Penzance always had a far greater chance of winning the Melbourne Cup the year it did than we have ever had of winning the comp this season and it was like 80/1

Bookmakers aren't in the business of losing money and have people far smarter than you and I looking at this.

Hindy let himself down the other day when he included the Raiders in his list of teams in better form than Parra (Mr 85% my arse!).

But he has a point about Penrith. That point is supported by a range of other opinions, including those whose livelihoods depend on the results.

Write him off at your own peril.
