Besides the GF i thought he was pretty good last year. This year hard to judge as he has barely played.

His defence has struggled due to leg injuries IMO.

In the grand final he played 70 minutes with a knee injury and was burned by the speedsters. Thats after having a hammy injury not long before too.

This year he has had hammy issues and its the guys with pace that trouble him. Once he gets back to full fitness and confidence in his legs I think he will be back to being the best defensive half in the game. He used to be able to match the pace of guys in cover defence. But theres a few guys he just can’t at the moment.

I think Lomax over Fegai. You could play him anywhere right now and he'd kill it such is his form.

Either way Fegai will be chased by Cleary's boot.

Fullback is a specialist position and a gun outside back can't always do well there.

This was the right side named for the 2023 grand final, WCC and Round 1 2024:

They have only run out once on that same side in 2024 (Twice if you include the WCC).

We just had a bye round. You'd think there would have been a lot of discussions and planning for our end of season charge. That Turuva change might be a signal.

My guess is that we are returning to our first choice right edge.
