Maloney's been rubbish this past month, but he carried the team in the months when Cleary was injured. I don't know if we would be 10th but there's no way we'd in contention for top 4 without him.

You are right...There is no positives with this club atm

Lol I didn’t say that.

You are making up positives out of thin air. That 7 minute stretch doesn’t prove anything. If that’s all evidence you have for “knowing Cleary is better on the right” then you’re talking out your ass. He had a hand in one of those tries during that time and he did his part well but it was just good support play. The try he scored was again a good effort on the kick chase and pressure. He always dies those things well, we see that from him every week.

I never try and post anything that flimsy.

well

Cleary is leaving one day mate so why invest big money and risk losing a talent like Luai when we will just have to start again when Nathan leaves and at that point we might not have any good young halves to bring in.

Says otherwise.

Gould believes it.

Try harder mate.

Yeah right an article with no name attached

The facts are there what both Gould and Cleary have previously said. The headline though is potentially wrong.

Gould did not say that Father and Son will join forces in the Near Future that was added by a 'creative' sub editor.

Yep. exactly there is actual video of him saying it that way

There is a direct quote from Gus saying he thinks it will be happening in the link above:

“I believe it will happen. And I would like to see it happen. “But the decision right now is in Nathan’s hands.

“Neither his father or I are putting any pressure on him.”

A media organisation cannot attribute a quote like that to someone unless its truth, it is illegal. Gould said it mate. Its a fact. Get your head out of the sand.

Yep. We have all heard and read the same words as you Betcats:

No where does Gould say it will happen tomorrow or the next day. The media and their writers are at times attempting to infer this.

I think perhaps you need to re-read what is being said and written. Comprehension is not you're strong suit. :D

No one is disagreeing with what's been written or said.

No where does Gus even say player/coach role either

No I think its your comprehension that is shit. The writers haven't inferred it will be happening soon. Not at all. He is allowed to negotiate with other clubs in November, that's just a fact.

He predicts it will happen. He's not saying it's definitely happening.

Unless he leaves now I don't think we have to worry about it.

Ivan will be sacked before Nathan is off contract again. He might be at a new club. But there's no guarantee that new club will be in a position to ho for him.

The lack of job security in coaching could mean Nathan will jump at this chance to be coached by his father because he might not ever get another chance they would both understand that. They know the game.

Either way its pretty obvious they aren't talking about teaming up in the commentary box as Franklin would have people believe.

I don’t understand why everyone continues to get there knickers in a twist about the Cleary’s. I think just about everyone including the Cleary’s are well and truly over it. I am much more concerned about the ramifications for our salary cap if he does resign and who we lose as part of that process.

I think you may have a place as a fiction writer. Because boy oh boy you're reading an awful lot into all of these articles.

You're getting you're knickers in a twist over something that may not happen in Cleary's next contract.

I'm sure Nathan will weigh up all the positives and negatives of both leaving or staying with Panthers. I think career wise he will stay with Panthers because they offer him the best prospects in the future.
