I understand you think you know more than at least some professional coaches, but do you even try to understand their logic? Or do you just assume that when you don't understand they must be wrong?

My priorities would be a half back who can tackle and has a good kicking game (certainly doesn't have to be a superstar) and at least two other middle forwards that will improve our ability to win the play the ball. I then would not have re-signed De Gois and found someone else.

Me too. But you and I coach in a perfect world, while real coaches operate under real constraints.

Alvaro plays a different role starting to when he comes off the bench, and puts up different numbers. But Arthur's seems to prefer Alvaro starting. That's what he has mostly done this year.

Did you mean Arthur prefer's Mannah starting? We were talking about whether Alvaro performed better and is a better 2017 starting option than Mannah (if we recruit an additional middle forward).

You asked for some stats indicating that our other middle forwards had a better game than Mannah last night - you were given those.

You then questioned whether one game's stats can be used for a conclusion, and then failed to offer up comparative stats yourself.

Then you started to claim that what Arthur's past selection are proof of what Arthur should select in the future... and attempt to reframe discussion about past practices instead of adding anything to the analysis and discussion of our future options.

I like my wingers big and strong, i like gutherson in centres. Id look at a new winger who cant cart ball up strongly.

Where's your f**cking proof that he can't. You're the one claiming he is incapable of providing impact and yet you haven't provided a single iota of evidence to support your argument.

Several posters have argued alvaro and Mannah are similar players and the fact Alvaro has come off the bench indicates BA isn't adverse to having that kind of player come off the bench.

Well if they split the $300k amongst the three of them ($100k each) then Terepo and Pritchard provide decent value. If we're only taking $100k off Mannah's contract he is probably still slightly over valued.
