As much as I love Houston, his "effort" on Barba's 71st minute try was pathetic.

A few of us gave the 2011 debutants wraps for great first halves, Stone needs to ban mobile internet access in the sheds because they must have read it and the lot of them shirt grabbed their way through the 2nd half.

Souffs will murder us next week

They will now as they can smell blood, we win tonight by a few and we are almost out of reach.

Now they will be so pumped. Good luck to them actually, we are a speedbump in the finals anyway, Souths at least have some form.

We on the other hand are frankly an embarassment.

Perhaps it would be better to ban Stone, he really has the touch with halftime speeches.

Is there a specialist hooker who misses more tackles than De Gois? A ball hog who's too slow to do any damage and misses tackles for fun. Add to that he's injury prone, has no playmaking ability, good luck with him Sharkies

Love to see how many kicks Mullo had tonight. I'd give about four of them a pass mark.

Its funny that for a bloke with so much supposed ability and who trains for about 9 months of the year, every year since he was 16, its truly amazing how crap his last tackle and short kicking options are.

Unfortunately, he is getting worse not better and he's going to be a player than promised more than he ever delivered.

I saw cracks in our game against the titans and raiders that a few other people picked up on here. Despite our massive wins, the tits and raiders were still making ridiculous metres. We can't keep that shit up against better teams.

I don't know with Mullen anymore, he seems to be a player that is too confidence based, which is great in the good times, but f**king pathetic in the bad times.

And I agree with K-Man on the previous page, I'm f**king sick of Stone sitting there like a stunned mullet in press conference after each game that we should of won or played a lot better in and come up with the same excuses.
Too me he just doesn't seem like the coach that gets up our players enough, how come we don't see any half time rants of him showing any emotion? not even in the coaches box
f**king bring on Bennett

To be honest Gidley and Mullen ought to drop their heads in shame. 800k in cap money, 300 fg games and 80% of our attack run between the two of them and...

and...

and they are about as useful as Ian G on a porn set.

Our forwards gave us plenty of opportunities to put 50 points on the Dogs tonight, but these two impotent frauds continually f**k every play up with shit kicks, hospital passes or knock ons.

Would that be our poor ability to wrap the ball up in tackles or our on again off again goal line defence?

The irony is that we had a good first half, even though the Dogs were woeful. We had some great forward runs, some great kicks with repeat sets and some good angles being run. It had to turn if the Dogs got more possession in the 2nd half but our ability to weather that and stay composed is what defines a team.
Some of Mullen's grabs in defense in the 2nd half were woeful. Some of his tackles in the 2nd half were great. I reckon he is carrying that shoulder or pec and won't commit at times which costs us.
Kaufusi had some great hit-ups in the first half but was hardly seen in the 2nd half. I don't know if he went MIA or just didn't get the time in the 2nd half. Faas had some great hitups and also wasn't seen much in the 2nd (although more than Kaufusi). Karawana should have never been on the field.

I actually enjoy watching Stone find new ways of excusing the sort of rubbish that is being dished up.

Just shows that for all his supposed experience, he doesn't have a effing clue.

Plenty of other coaches would have gone postal by now but captain Mogodon just rolls on, nice to see.

Stone is a hagan clone in that regard...well we probably could have done this a lot better..we could have probably done that a little bit better..etc..
No heart and no confidence..no direction..mp leadership..i swear and ive said it before..some of them are just jersey grabbers who constantly efuse to bend their backs
You dont want this team in the 8 cause it will shatter the shit out of the confidence of some of them!...melbourne will pump us by 80 and another 5 years befor ethe place comes even close

He's not first grade material. He was struggling to breath after making a tackle. Very unfit and not physically strong enough or fast enough. Looked like he was really struggling to keep up.

I predict now that Gidley and Mullen will not be at the club by the end of Bennetts reign.

Gids won't get a contract extension whether he wants it or not and Mullen will be lucky to see the end of his.

Bennett won't put up with the sort of sh*t that they dish out on a weekly basis.

They may as well have Mad Monday next week and go on holidays early.

Bennett must be having second thoughts about now and as for Tinks, he's probably put the Corona through the LED by now.

He doesn't drink domestic?
