Yes, someone else mentioned that on JA. I hope that you are both right.

Shades of Dan Hunt playing game 150?
dont forget he is still under contract for next year so "cant " be his last game And this is where you hope that if hook does have any thought of playing him management step in and remind him not to

I reckon McCullough is retiring and his swan song is this week against Brisbane- just odd to see him names in the reserves even though they said he was probably not coming back this year

Tau Tau Moga went ok last week. Caught a couple of high balls well and returned pretty well.

on the spot to catch and score in a tight corner. Then when we were overlapped; he anticipated the cut pass to Brent Naden to save a try and intercept. He held his own for 50 metres then the bear jumped on his back for the last 30 to the Tigs line. I was riding Tautau all the way. 4 ACLs have blunted him, that’s true. I love a comeback story.

I notice that our ref from last weekend is going to be a touch judge at the Cows v Penriff game.
Is it his rostered weekend to be a touchie or is he in doghouse for not giving Wests enough of a leg-up to get them over the line?
We have Ben Cummins in charge of set restarts this week, with Gerard Sutton in the Bunker - it's going to be a long night...

You obviously didn't see his non-effort to chase Madden-a try could have been prevented if he'd reacted when the break was made- left it to Lomax- the bear was on his back not just for that run but for the rest of the match.

After all the Sua talk today of wanting out and having major issues with Hook how is it going to affect the team. I would love to beat the Broncos and have them out but once again a bounceback is on the cards . Lets hope the players can galvanise for one last hurrah and maybe throw Hooks gameplan ( pretty basic one) out the window and play like than can ,, Of course old Ben needs to be switched on this week and lead the team like we know he can ..
One more victory song and then we can all cross our fingers and hope that the right changes happen so 23 isnt a right off

And let Mcollough sit on the sidelines NOT force Bud out

Yes one more win and we finish on 26 points with 12 wins / 12 losses 50%
That is the reality of our season. Terrible F & A
Nothing to celebrate - but higher than we have been in 4 years
Amazing to think when we were one of the spoon favs
Most on here expected us to not make the 8
Summary -
we got a ways to go to be Top 8 competetive WIWO
But not the wrist slitting year some make it out to be either

Last game of pain??
Another decade of pain yet.
Maybe not but the Board is going to have to eat humble pie, admit that extending Hook was the wrong option and in the next few weeks bring in a new coaching partnership that unites the players and attracts quality recruits. My preference is Flanno and Hannay and/or Sowie but admit that there are no guarantees with whoever we appoint- but to start next season with Hook and then sack him (as we did with Mary) is merely wasting valuable time and proves the Board has learnt nothing from its many mistakes.

it would be odds on for AM to come in at 9 and Sullivan back to 14. I do hope that AM makes the call himself and realises that the game is well and truly past him. To stay on for another year would be embarrassing for him especially.
Sadly if Hooks still there next year he will still probably be hooker

It would be terrific if the players are able to come out and give their all for this game . Put all the rumours and everything else behind them and play their best footy of the season .

A number of Dragons last game in the Big Red V , Simms , McGuire among some , to each I wish them the best for the future .

May they go out with a bang and may the entire team give the fans something to cheer about until nest season.

And what about Ben Woolf? You want them to sack him before he even gets here?

Certainly not the tear to be slashing wrists, but 2023...
