I agree although I thought our passing leading up to last tackle has been on the improve and looked quite good tonight. I liked how F Molo chimed in as the link man. Where it breaks down is that our halfback lacks the creativity to create any opportunities and only seems to have a bomb in his bag of tricks. Hardly ran the ball.
For mine, I thought the forwards were very good tonight. If we had a better spine they would be rewarded for all the effort they put in week in week out.
Put sua and job in the pack and we have a bit more hard running. Which would make a difference.

Very disappointed. Our middles had a massive crack, but we didn't have the polish. Credit to the Warriors they dominated field position and defended very well.
I reckon Sloan grounded it, but the rule is there needs to be intent to ground it. In the replay it looks like he was trying to scoop it instead of putting downward pressure.
1 more week of torture left. Anyone that says dragons fans are fairweather supporters can go and stick it.

Yes a another game there for the taking and we let it out of grasp..again
And i will now get on my soap box a bit to those doomsayers about Blake Lawrie is this that and the other and get rid of him
His performance tonight and effort on a wet duey field was enormous
Yes i would like him to get a subtle change of direction when he belts up but he is starting to mature into the prop I said he had potential to be.
Just hope he keeps up next year and he has earnt his starting spot.

Well now we know why Flanno told Musgrove and BB to find jobs elsewhere and some of the others. Errors at crucial stages both of them in attack and defence. Not alone but confirms we need more than they can give. Impressed with Russell tonight. I said he was not a 1st grader but is warming to the role.
We do need more 2nd phase and offloads in our game with momentum, we need to break teams down that way. This cross field attack slow show and go has got to be straightened up

Sloane also did nothing in attack. I though both 9's tried hard. benny Hunt tried a few things in the first half on his own but did not come off.
To be fair we got no ball down theie end in the 1st half
Those 2 x 5th tackle 6 agains killed us + that BS penalty that gave them the moentum in the 1st half.
I note we did not get 1 x 6 again, we got a few penalties but that just gave them time to reset.

Big Ben behind kicker. Burns in front but does not contest. Masila chases from onside and puts Burns onside as he takes the ball in front of him. But hey, Dragons refereeing.
Sorry mate, point of order, no one but the kicker can put Burns onside. However, it was a hard call as Burns played no part in the play.
Was AFB just offside in that Sloane blunder try?..anyone?

Correct he stopped and backed off.

In the second half we were it up to our armpits.

I can’t see how Liddle’s try disallowed? Always hung on the ball. Yes, as putting down for try on the 1st effort it landed on the calf muscle of warrior player. Liddle still and always had hold of it and simply lifted the ball up and slammed it down over the line in front of the referee. That adds to the Lomax fair try.

Fire up Coach Carr at the press conference.
Watch again he let it out of grasp onto the back of his leg.
Unlucky I know i thought at first look it was a try

Good on the Warriors and Carr for being very gracious. I’m a little sour about a few things.

The Warriors coach commented on their great defence and that Dragons only scored off a kick. Whilst true, he didn’t mention the early flood of penalties and two ( yes two) 5th tackle 6 agains. Blowed if anyone knew what the 6 agains on 5th were about but the home crowd loved the refereeing. Finally dragons defence cracked for Warriors 1 st try on their final second set of 6. Then Lomax was terrible with an arm grab rubbish to let Klonstadt score second. Remember the two 50/50 calls against Lomax and Liddle no trys.

Thereafter, it was an arm wrestle. We started to get some penalties second half which evened up possession. Warriors coach commented about Dragons getting some penalties as though it shouldn’t happen.

OK good luck to Warriors, but really they didn’t look that much chop when the possession evened up. They just started putting up Hail Mary bombs like us. BTW if Musgrove didn’t spill the lollies with 7minutes to go and 20 out, I reckon we win.

What kind of twisted version of Rugby League are we watching? FACT there is simultaneous hand-ball-ground contact in-goal so ball is grounded.
Yes clumsy by Sloan but nonetheless the ball is grounded and would be obvious to the Bunker with its hi tech slo-mo who corruptly chose to overlook the obvious grounding.
I seriously thought there must have been a rule change without me being aware. He accidentally grounded it in my opinion, pretty clear yet completely ignored by all. I thought they must have introduced an ‘intent’ clause, ie you have to intend to ground it for it to be deemed grounded….they do like to makes things grey and complicated. Sloan has all the tricks in his bag.

I thought BMM played really well tonight and had a dig wish he was like that every week. We had numerous oops to win that game we just bombed it can’t execute and our sets on their line are pedestrian. No set plays
I agree but that's our problem we have too many players like BMM & Musgrove who have one good/acceptable game every 6 or so, no consistancy.

Tremendous defensive effort from the boys

usual plethora of mistakes

Whether it’s premeditated or not some of the refereeing decisions are baffling.

I feel like I am watching WWE Wrestling

Fastest try in NRL history denied.

Liddle try denied.

Numerous 6 agains awarded on last tackle.

What Sloan was intending to do is anybody’s guess, however all I saw was downward pressure on a ball which was on the ground. As far as I know that’s all that was required for a dropout.

The side deserved better last night.

Plenty of players busted their arse out there all game, tackling and trying to stay in the game. And then Sloan comes along with a nonchalant attempt to pick it up when he can just ground it.
Sick of his lazy, carefree attitude and he can go somewhere else.
Really hoping Ramsay is back next season.
Even if he picked it up where did he think he was going ? I know straight into the back fence ...... That was dead set lazy ......
