Lachlan Illias definitely gets me more excited than Reynolds does as a halfback. I love the fact thats he's willing to take on the line. Benji Marshall was saying his 2 biggest strengths are 1. His defence 2. His ball running. We are already seeing this.

I think that's so important for a halfback at NRL level with this 6 again crap. If youre not running the ball and taking advantage of tired defence then you're too predictable.

Our kicking game isn't as good as it was when Reynolds was here ill cop that but I think its just going to take practice. I have faith that Walker and Illias can do the job.

Happy days boys hopefully we can take that confidence into next week.

3- J Arrow. Easily the man's best game for the squad. Everywhere on the field and non-stop threatening performance.
2- Murray. What can a fellow humanoid say about SuperCam? Breathtaking effort and composure.
1- Cook. His best for some time. Not only in attack but great effort in defense too.
Special mention:
Milne. Yes he is still a little rusty but his effort and offloads were tremendous. I think on one occasion his offload got the squad down the field some 35-40 metres after Easts had us pinned. Its obvious he should have been a centre from the get go. Bennett had no trouble playing him there and usually the squad scored plenty of points.
Murray was phenominal, and were was victor the inflictor? Lost in translation, he hardly got mentioned last night, and thats why cameron is the best, weight for weight like gold bullion, every ounce of him fires,im crying

Also I have to mention Latrell, all week the media has been playing on the Mitchell-Msnu incident and how it’s set to create more drama etc. now it would have been easy for Latrell to get caught up again and possibly do something silly, but he kept a cool head and just played footy.

I just can't believe how Fittler and Johns keep pushing Victor The Sphincter, he is NOWHERE near being in the same class as Cam Murray

The sensible part of me says this is spot on, the hothead in me says he went a bit soft on tackling Manu 😂

The media are talking up DMs first win but seem to forget he coached the side before when Wayne got busted for breaching co-vid rules as well as probably hundreds of games in his career per se.

So it’s not really like he’s a rookie.

There was a good point above regarding halves running at the line. I understand why they don’t like it, as the whole game gets bigger and stronger, I can see the day where halves are going to be massive to take the line on.

Also, I’m not sure about anyone else, but there are way too many injuries in the modern game. We need to address that, amend the rules and strap the players up if necessary.

You just have to hope Latrell stays composed, puts his head down and doesn’t get up to his old tricks and start his crap again. I think he will break sooner or later because that’s what he does.

Murray remains grossly underpaid but Cody for captain for mine.

Arrow is the gift that keeps on giving.

Just my view, but Keary has never been the same player since his bad concussion from a few years ago. I worry about him a bit. His beautiful X factor is gone.

Broken play try, showed game awareness and sharp decision making from you guys, backed up with silky performance. A second or two of rooster confusion, punished.

Always good to see the squid lose. His racial vilification of a young lady trying to have a good night out was atrocious. He gets a small meaningless fine and a pat on the back. He should be thrown out of the game, the entitled s-bag prick.

Well I just watched the replay loved it all. We really needed that. Trell had a good game he will only get better as match fitness gets better. Paulo looked much better on the wing. Milne was very good I thought, Campbell was Campbell.

Young Ilias had a much better game was barking more at the forwards, did some more of the kicking took the line on a bit more the way he played is exactly what was needed as it helped take some pressure off Cody. I think the coaching staff let him off the leash a bit so to speak and it had to happen. Also was solid in defence and in tackles he missed he hung on til help arrived.

Cody needed that too it will do him the world of good. Cookie had a very good game got back to his good running game, I just wish when he takes off we would support him a bit better with better support play.

In the middle was where we won it though Murray was sensational best on ground, Arrow another great game and Keaon got back to how we know he plays. The only forward is was a bit disappointed in was Tom.

Overall it was having our completion rate above 80percent that won us the game. So yeah feels so good today just brilliant to get another one over the scum foreverinourshadow!!!

Well great to see the team back to winning , more so how to win. The play the ball speed much better and also the defence . Liam Knight back and missed a tackle for a try, David Moale is waiting in the wings and only 19 he needs more run on time. Lachlan Illias really stepped up and taking on the line more was a feature. Captain Cam was a super man , he best game so far, and Jai Arrow certainly consistently good. Tatola running good metres. Great game as well from Cook. Jacob Host solid as was Nicholls. Cody was good especially backing up Murray for a try. A special mention to Jaxxon Paulo often gets bagged here in the forum but he was great especially the pass to Johnston that led to Mitchells try. Johnston looked better last night and Milne an enthused game, LATRELL WAS LATRELL great game. The forwards really lifted and this made a lot of difference to the likes of cook, walker etc. Tom unfortunately was very quite , dropped the ball which led to a roosters try. Credit to the coach for some tactical moves with switches between Paulo and Milne.
