100% agree. There is no right or wrong posts.

I think my posts on gus and bennett reflected that pretty strongly. I said that none of us knew the inner workings and none of us could no whether bennett wouldve been better.. i did say hed have had us up there..

I just find it frustrating when some posters, give one sided opinion to back an opinion they believe in..

As ive always maintained, i just call things as they are, from a non biased perspective.

Trust me, if tago starts getting carved up in defence ill be on here saying so..

I think theres alot of unconscious bias in here at times.. maybe my posts can be harsh but if people are offended on a forum than maybe everyone takes this all a bit to seriously.

The thing with the Gus/hook break down is it was never in private.

Assistant coaches going to Football GM to complain about a coach

Football GM and head coach arguing in the tunnel at half time in a trial

Both we confirmed by parties that were in the inner sanctum and imo show everyone isn't on the same page.

Compare to now and News Limited have to make up stories to get the drama. Like being too arrogant etc

From the outside looking in the place looks happier. Results back that up

As for Tago is was never him personally would struggle but any rookie centre will get targetted by the good teams.

It is why I haven't made a prediction past the Eels game in Round 9.
Storm and Roosters after that will test our left side out.

Look at where you are posting.

I think some times you work to hard at being “unbiased” that it actually effects your point of view.

of course I’m going to be biased towards a team I’ve relentlessly followed for almost 40 years.

If you are chasing unbiased opinion, head over to the general section and talk to those nut bags.

The critta miss yeaterday was the due to everyone being dragged in.. you could see he was well infield marking who sos shouldve been.

He slid but not as quick as the passes.
No the miss was because Crichton got stood up by his opposite man. That Crichton is watching the inside play develop and standing inside his opposite isn't a reason or an excuse, that's what happens every time a team spreads the ball ever.

Jenkins looks like the next one on the left to come through. Just watching the game now, he is a big Lad. I can see him taking the LC spot when Tago is put in 2ndRow. Question remains we will lose at least one of May, Turuva or Staines. But I agree with many on here Staines is really having a go now.

Hopefully, we keep all three, and let Edwards go.

He is the long term centre

May and Turuva can play multiple positions. Staines is the odd one out

Interesting question, hard to say on talent alone but given Burton always wanted to play in the halves so was likely to leave and Tago has said he’s really keen to stay here I’ll say no. Also would not swap Tago for the much hyped pensini.

It is to early to tell who will have a better career. Penisini has a great flick pass and a nice kick on him. His defense looks superior at current also. But Tago seems to be a more dangerous attacking threat running the ball to me. I'd have to say Tago has shown more so far in attack 100% But Pensini has shown more in defense .
Both seem talented. Tago but looks like a real beast however and a better talent at this point

Pensini has always been a centre. Helps with defence. The next 18-24 months across the League is exciting to see the talent develop

I did. We don't need wingers that can only play fullback though. Not sure where that leaves him.

He's clearly capable of playing wing. Everyone has spoken about his improvements this year and that try on the weekend showed his finishing ability. We already know his defence is reasonable.

I do prefer May and Turuva if thats the case
They are the two we must keep..

Turuva in particular is very very talented..

But imo the way tago has gone so far this year i just dont see him needing to move any time soon. Hes one of those players that will be stuck between positions imo. Probably to small for 2nd row. The polynesian boys are normally filled out by 18 to 20..hes 19 now and only 183cm and 93kgs.

Hes going to have to pack on 8 kgs atleast if we want him to play 2nd row full time. And than he just loses everything that makes him special. To much weight and he just loses a bit of speed and that elusivness he has.

So if him and critta have a centre spot locked down i think it leaves may and tiny fighting for one wing. Too the other. Turuva to put pressure on my favourite edwards.

I like jenkins but i just think he lacks that explosive speed. And he doesnt really have a really good step or jink.

Hope he proves me wrong and can break into the big time. But tiny and turuva are definitley the two most promising.
