I think Staines could learn to play centre fairly well. He's good at reading the game and seems willing to work on his short comings.

Wouldnt likely be an immediate success. But I would back him to do a solid job for us if playing centre. Honestly the only thing holding him back so far this year is a lack of opportunity on the right edge. Critta has thrown some poor passes but more importantly we just haven't had nathan out there to help create those extra chances
Very much agree. I think when Cleary is back and in form, our right side will be as deadly as our left if not better, but with better defence.

Edwards is super important to our team, I honestly believe he’s harder to replace than Cleary.
His passing on the weekend was on point, he ran for over 200m and was perfectly positioned all game.

Im with Girds, I think he’s 3rd best behind Teddy and Turbo.

You are tripping on both points Luke. He isnt better than Pap not even close and he certainly isnt harder to replace than Cleary, that is just ludicrous.

You don’t think SOS replacing Nathan does a better job than anyone we have to replace Dylan?

I think Dylan is a better FB than Paps. Paps is able to use his speed to cover up his poor reads, but he still gets caught out if position a lot more than Dylan.

No I think Critter would be better than SOS. Dylan was great on the weekend and against Manly and ok against the dragons, he had 2 errors playing the ball in that game so he was just ok but he has been nailing his passes so far which has been great to see and his positioning and kick returning is very very good as usual but Nathan is a far bigger loss to us than Dylan would be.

I know there is the idea that floated by some that he organises our defence so much better than anyone else could and we cant do with out that but I went through our games without him last season and we didnt concede more points when he was out our defence held up fine.

Cleary is the best player in the game. What an insane take to say Edwards is more important, Yeo is the only other player in the discussion for our most important

I have made my thoughts on halfbacks clear.

Either Yeo or Api for the extra space they create for the halves.
95% win record with Yeo in.
25% with him out shows his importance

We have had plenty of chance to see the side without him.
We go pretty good without him
