Other than setting up the try for DZW obviously.

In a mile of space and after about five f**king failed attempts at that kick, some not on the last. And what about the kick on the third for about twenty meters the first time it looked like we might have been getting out our own end in a long time.

I'd say with a 3W,2L they're are doing well considering they play like strangers in attack at times and Soward and Wallace have only played twice together. Good character with the defence has led to the wins and they were robbed v Storm.

It's weird - our attack is pretty poor, we are pretty slow, our defence switches off at times, and our forwards sometimes get dominated.....and we are still 3-2. Just imagine if we play well.

f**k we played shit. A Penrith game hasn't pissed me off that bad in a long time. Please f**k Kingston off, every time he comes on in the backrow we get dominated in the forward pack. Manu needs to lose some Kgs as well fat merkin.

Many teams are attacking poorly in the comp (see Roosters and Rabbits) and it's understandable with so many new players in the team that we'll take time to click. I prefer this Panthers team to the one under Elliott that may have scored more points but gave away a stack of penalties and were pea hearts in defence. The defence has been decent or good in 4 out of 5 games which is not typical of the Panthers. Points on the table always good, especially with Penrith who normally start slow and can't recover to make the 8.

So you weren't happy with that last 8 minutes of keeping the Raiders out with all of those sets of six?

The Penrith players displayed a performance that was true grit.

They practically tackled themselves to a standstill against a side that belted the Rabbits last week.

Man,I'm more than happy with an effort like that...any fan from any team would be delighted if their side guts it out like that.

They weren't that bad, nor good. They were better than Canberra with 3 tries to 1 and defended stoutly. The fact that torrential rain was falling spoiled the game as a quality spectacle.

Wallace was nothing, Soward was good, and in comparison Campese and Wighton were vomit, so we got home. Probably would have destroyed them if not for the rain. DWZ started poorly but went ok in the second half. Overall I thought Moylan was very good for the conditions. Idris was better used this week and on the back of an even forward battle looked much better, until that last f**king awful pass.

lucky our defence was great. Attack was terrible we had so much ball & yet again didn't use it.

Mansour is terrible under the high ball I can teams kicking to that wing. DWZ was good enough was in the right place for those tries as all good wingers should be.

Soward was great that's why we signed him kicked to space everytime... The less said about Wallace the better. Terrible kept kicking on the 3rd when we needed to build pressure great defence.

Peachey should certainly come in next week. He was great in NSW Cup scored a great try from dummy half from the halfway line. Beat 5 or 6 & went in under the post.

Wallace was probably favoring his groin injury.

Playing in the wet makes you overcautious when you are hurting down there.

Goodcto get a win, terrible conditions but still thuoght our handling was poor. Defense really good, still a lot of improvement but if we can keep that side healthy we should have a good season.

Congrats to Dallin on a solid debut.

I thought Wallace did his job. A few of his kicks were only just off. He did what he needed to given the conditions. Soward is doing exactly what is required, great kicking and good vision.

It was percentage football...grind and Soward kicked well.

Defence was outstanding..a lot of hurt from Docker out there tonight.

Wish ET would get more involved at times just seems quiet.

There are some that bag Brown...but geez he is hard and a bit of an animal we need him to counter balance some of the guys who drift off in games.

Anyone think Manu will get time for the crusher tackle?

Most disappointing was the crowd..only 7500 or so.....that is shit....If the panthers fold or merge one day due to lack of crowds...well we can only blame those who stay home.
Hope we get more supporters than the bunnies do against us next week.

Sowie carries this team in attack. His kicking game is easily as good as any player in the NRL, but he still has a good passing game too. Best halg we have had since Gower and Presto. Will do better when our team stops dropping so much ball and we get a few games of pairings together.
