I don't mind Hunt off the bench. He put in some good kicks from dummy half last week and I think it's good for him to get more NRL experience before Lockyer retires.

p.s we should have full time centers anyway, but Hunt can play there too.

So will Lockyno-one shut the f**k up about Wallace and Smith now..

Good to see our backs clicking today with Parker giving us good punch up the middle.. Things are looking up with Kenny set to return soon.

First half good.
Second half bad.

3. Parker. Odd choice maybe. But 2nd most metres, most hitups, most tackles and most offloads.
2. Gillett. Imagine what he could have done without the injury.
1. Sam Thaiday. Has to be player of the year so far.

Might change this around later, maybe players like Folau and Lockyer deserve mentions.

Yes, if Kenny's injury over the weekend isn't too serious I'd love him to come back into the starting line-up and relieve Lui who would be better off the bench.

Good first half, pretty dissapointing second.

3. Matt Gillett
2. Sam Thaiday
1. Corey Parker

3 Gillette - make this bloke captain and sign him on a ten year contract.
2 McCullogh - plays much better when given a rest.
1 Wallace - For demonstrating exactly why Ivan was happy to let Tim Smith go.

Honourable mention to Lockyer for running more in the first half. While not overly effective it was just good to see.

Where is Lockyno1? Wallace dominated his lover boy Tim Smith. What have you got to say about that one bud?

Sharks were unlucky, but the pack was smashed so it was difficult for Smith. Although he did score more tries than Wallace did anyway! Was a much better performance from Wallace..but why does it take him 5 weeks to do something!

We certainly missed Wallace out there, it just reminds us how important he is in the side.

Henjak got the team selections spot on today, starting McCollough off the bench after 20mins was good, it means he isn't buggered from the first 20mins of the game.

Same with Anderson, he worked better off the bench. Let's just hope Tronc is ready for this weekend, we'll need a bit more up front against the dogs.

3. Gillett - outstanding in the support role in attack, and very very handy in defence - he seemed to everywhere today.
2. Thaiday - Damaging in his hitups as per usual this season.
1. McCullough - stood up today with Wallace out.

Apart from some glaring defensive issues in the second half, it was a solid performance today. Lockyer deserves a special mention for getting his kicking game back on track, and Yow Yeh looks like he's wasting no time in retaining his old wing spot.

Bring on the Dogs.

Yea because scoring tries is the most important thing for a halfback.

Wallace has just returned from a broken ankle and only had about 20mins in a trial and hardly any training in the pre season. That is why it has taken him 6 weeks to find his form of late last season.

Not a bad performance but against a piss poor Shark outfit.

3 Thaiday
2 Gillett
1 Wallace

LockyNo1 How does it feel. Our guy played all over your guy and the salt in the wound is how much you hate our guy.

Defence looked alright but jeesus the Sharks stank

No excuse, if he wasn't ready, Smith or Hunt should have been playing halfback.

Dodds is certainly aiming up of late I am liking him more and more. He certainly is a prop/secondrower who needs to start the match. I think he could play a few more minutes IMO. Te'o was better today also, he ran the ball very hard looks to have grown a heart.
