Loosing 96 - 0 Yikes!

But apparently the league WC is a joke because of the lopsided pool matches.

I notice Ireland, the no:1 ranked nation, best player is Samoan

But apparently international league is a joke due to its eligibility rules.

Wow and Non League fans laugh at how bad our World Cup is with blowout scores. There's about 4 or 5 over 70 in the group stages and theyre not finished yet,.

Rugby Australia is a joke and a hilarious one but the international game kills RL and anyone who reckons otherwise is in denial.

And that's not necessarily a complement for international RU as much as a comment on our own irrelevance

No one is arguing thier international game sh#ts on ours. Every league fan should be green with envy....

But they take the high ground regarding eligibility rules and pool stages blow outs although thiers is just as bad, they've even copied our rule that says you can play for a tier 2 nation if you aren't selected for tier 1, so now players in Union can represent 2 nations, they can play for Australia and Fiji....its exactly the same eligibility rule that Union fans have been critiquing us about.

Their international game might be good but Australia are awful at it

and they don’t have a club comp to compensate

The sport is one the brink of dieing they just borrowed another 60 million to keep afloat after private equity wasn’t interested in them

England aren't in a much better situation, clubs going bust and they've had to sell off to private equity.

The ARU keep bragging they'll be rolling in cash after the Lions tour and WC....but they've already borrowed against future earnings. Profits will go to paying back loans lol

7 points for a converted try vs 6 points, so to compare, we had 10 60+ scores. 10 out of 24 games.

They'd need 12 70+ games from the remaining 21 games to match that.

We also had 2 90+ scores.

Yeah, and if you re adjusted the score so the ball was in play for an equal amount of time what would the score be ?

France 192 - Namibia 0

...if the ball was only in play for 28 minutes in the RLWC all games would have been close, for example England 10 - Fiji 0

Both codes have an equally huge gulf between the top and bottom

Interesting point. You can't rack up a massive score line if the ball isn't in play.

I think the ARU chiefs would be worried about the cut through of their media campaign. They were basically leaching off the Matildas there for a bit with some co-branding but I'd doubt that even 1% of Australians would actually know that the Union World Cup is actually on right now.

Have a look through most of the squads, it's a real eye opener

England won by 70+ over night, so based on your maths the RUWC now only needs 11 more thrashings in the last 20 games to surpass the league world cup...they'll get there I rekon :D
