Guys you wont pass on this, and Im sure each one of you bagging this game will buy it the first week at the latest.

First of all, a video proves nothing, if i take a lomu video, does that mean the game is crap?

Wait for it to come out then place your assumptions. I cant believe the way some of you act, "He doesnt look real when he kicks the conversion"..

If you play the game and you like it, then buy it..if not then dont buy it. I dont buy crap games so why should anyone else but to say its crap having watched a 90 second clip and several photographs is ridiculous.

I'll pass on this one...Was very disappointed with the first 2 and something tells me this is gonna be more of the same...

Different developer altogether...

so this is #1 not #3...

this is the first of a series and to me from what ive seen its betetr than the others put togther

Its not BS as i have been in to the store and spoke to 2 people about it face to face.

Im not sure if you have been notified yet but i will anyway.

We were lucky enough to have played the game and are very excited for the
release. All the staff here got into it quiet easily and within minutes were
sledging in the competition.

Unfortunantly there is no franchise mode however the online features is a
better substitute.

Below are a few of the new features we were excited with.

1. Live online play with up to 4 player support

2. Future online updates to change player rosters and potential
content in 2011 (stadiums etc)

3. NRL Field markings change depending on Friday/Saturday/Sunday or
Monday games (system clock)

4. Sideline camera is much improved and a great way to play. (top to
bottom, not left to right)

5. Impact Tackles and close ups of the BIG HITS!

6. Field and Jersey Degredation. (play in the rain and jersey will get
muddy etc)

7. NRL All-Stars Team (Locked on Ps3, OPEN on Xbox)

8. Indigenous All-Stars Team

9. MCG stadium (Locked on Xbox, Open on Ps3)

10. Drag Tackles over the sideline. cool!

11. Cut out passes to take advantage of overlaps by pressing circle or
triangle or X. (need to watch the video for this one)

so what do these XBOX achievements mean?

Minor Premier
Be on the top of the ladder at the end of a regular NRL or SL seas

Star Player
Have a player in your team win the Dally M medal or Man of Steel award

City or Country
Win as either City or Country within a season

Premiership Winner
Win the NRL or SL Grand Final


does this mean we have the option to play ONE season?
earlier versions of rugby league had it and the first for xbox/ps3 doesn't?
if there is no franchise then that is a total disgrace..

Honestly Im getting excited over this, I know it isnt Madden in terms of options and etc but it looks to be in the right direction.

Online play sounds good, hopefully it wont be too laggy.

Online franchises are the best anyhow, there quite easy to setup. So that is always something that we can run from this forum. only 2 weeks to go!

Just had a look at the trailer and didn't get much out of it really. The defence looks impressive but they showed it for at least 90% video, was hoping they'd highlight a bit more in offence - side stepping, palming, grubber kicks etc.

Other then that it looks a lot like RL2 gameplay wise and I'd probably be willing to pay at least $50 for it.
